Contec DLUX 80 N++ front light

CONTEC DLUX 80 N++ Dynamo Front Light with Sensor & StVZO Approval

Illuminate your path with confidence and unparalleled German engineering with the CONTEC DLUX 80 N++ front light. Designed for the discerning cyclist who demands reliability, safety, and performance, this premium dynamo-powered light is the ultimate upgrade for your commuter, touring, or city bike. Experience exceptional brightness and intelligent features that make every journey, day or night, a safer one.

The core of the DLUX 80 N++ is its powerful, high-performance Osram LED, which produces a brilliant and consistent 80 lux / 170 lumen beam. This impressive output, falling within the 151-300 lm range, casts a wide and far-reaching light field, ensuring you can see every potential obstacle on the road ahead while also making you highly visible to other road users. Critically, the light is fully StVZO-approved (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations), meaning its precision-engineered optic creates a sharp cut-off line. This illuminates the road brilliantly without producing glare that could dazzle oncoming drivers and cyclists, enhancing safety for everyone.

One of the standout benefits of the DLUX 80 N++ is its "no-fuss" intelligence. Featuring an automatic switch-on function managed by an integrated bright-dark sensor, the light intuitively activates as you enter a tunnel or as daylight fades into twilight. This smart technology allows you to focus completely on your ride, confident that your visibility is always optimized for the current conditions. Furthermore, the integrated standlight function provides a crucial safety net. Even when you stop at a traffic light or intersection, the light remains illuminated for several minutes, ensuring you stay visible to traffic from all directions.

Built to withstand the rigours of daily use, the DLUX 80 N++ boasts a robust and elegant black aluminium housing. This not only offers superior protection against the elements but also acts as an efficient heat sink, ensuring the Osram LED maintains consistent performance and a long service life. Developed in Germany, this front light is a testament to quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design. It connects seamlessly to your bike´s hub dynamo, providing a reliable, battery-free, and environmentally friendly power source. Installation is straightforward thanks to the included universal bracket, and a removable front reflector adds an extra layer of passive safety.
