Experience the Key Benefits

The CONTEC HS-20 is more than just a replacement part; it´s an upgrade to your entire riding experience. Enjoy the significant advantages that set this headset apart:

* Silky Smooth Performance: At the heart of the HS-20 are high-quality sealed cartridge-ball bearings. This advanced design effectively shields the delicate internal mechanisms from dirt, water, and grime. The result is consistently smooth, low-friction steering in all weather conditions, significantly reducing the need for frequent maintenance and ensuring your handlebars turn with effortless precision.
* Enhanced Durability and Longevity: Built to last, the HS-20 is constructed from robust and lightweight aluminium. This choice of material, combined with the protected sealed bearings, ensures exceptional resistance to wear and corrosion. Invest in a "fit and forget" component that provides long-term reliability and saves you from future maintenance headaches.
* Clean, Low-Profile Aesthetics: The semi-integrated (also known as Zero Stack or ZS) design allows the headset cups to be pressed neatly into the frame´s headtube. This creates a sleek, modern, and low-profile look that integrates seamlessly with your bike´s frame, reducing the overall stack height for a cleaner and more aerodynamic appearance compared to traditional external cup headsets.
* Ideal for Classic and Modern Frames: Specifically designed for frames with a 1-inch headtube, the HS-20 is the perfect solution for restoring vintage road or mountain bikes, or for use in modern frames that adhere to this classic standard. It brings modern bearing technology to bikes that deserve a new lease on life.

Precision for Your Bicycle´s Steering Systems

The headset is the critical pivot point of your entire bicycle, and the HS-20 is engineered to perfect this function. As an essential part of the Steering Systems category, it eliminates the frustrating "notchy" or loose feeling often found in worn-out or lower-quality headsets. The precision-machined aluminium cups and the perfectly matched sealed bearings work in harmony to provide a solid, play-free connection between your fork and frame. This stability ensures that every subtle input you make at the handlebars is translated directly and accurately to the front wheel, boosting your control and confidence on descents, through corners, and while navigating technical terrain.

Delivered in a convenient self-service package, the CONTEC HS-20 is ready for installation by home mechanics and professional workshops alike, making your next bike maintenance project straightforward and successful.
