they are gold. 15 or 20 degrees indicates how much you have to rotate the shoe for it to disengage from the pedal. If I remember correctly 15 or 20 degrees depends on whether the cleat is placed one way or the other. 6 degrees indicates that the shoe can move 6 degrees on the pedal (it is not completely locked like it happens with zero floats.
