Decent 31.8mm riser bars are very difficult to High quality correctly designed and manufactured 31.8mm riser bars are very difficult to find in Australia. After much research to determine what was available at a realistic price, I purchased the Ergotec 50mm Riser Bar from Bikeinn to assist in relieving the numbing of hands and recurring pain in my right shoulder which was due to a sporting injury incurred 20 years ago. Price on Bikeinn made this Riser Bar very affordable and despatch and shipping to Australia very prompt. After cutting to length (680mm) and fitting, I have now completed 4 rides (on my Giant Roam 1 Hybrid) of approx. 40 kms each and have found my riding position to be more upright and far more comfortable and relaxed. With minimal pressure on and a lack of numbness in hands and the pain in my right shoulder diminishing by the day. From my experience to date I do not hesitate to recommend the Ergotec 31.8mm 50mm Riser Bar to others (in particular older riders like myself) who need to change their riding position to become more upright and far more comfortable and relaxed. The Ergotec 50mm Riser Bar is an excellent quality product. It is not a 'cheap' product like many others I have seen.
