Hi, I don´t think you´ll have any problems because it allows for adjustment tolerance for forward and backward (it has several holes for fixing). The problem may be because the handlebar hole requires a larger diameter screw than the mount can handle. Otherwise, the mount is a 10.

I´m driving last year´s Madone SLR 7 Gen 7 with the Garmin Edge 1040. It fits perfectly. I originally used the included mount from Trek. The Garmin wasn´t 100% fixed. With the K Edge mount, the Garmin is stuck. The holder fits exactly.

Fahre das Madone SLR 7 Gen 7 vom letzten Jahr mit dem Garmin Edge 1040. Das passt perfekt. Habe ursprünglich die mitgelieferte Halterung von Trek verwendet. Da war der Garmin nicht 100% fest fixiert. Bei der K Edge Galterung sitzt der Garmin fest. Die Halterung passt genau.

Based on my research, this mount is specific to trek madone/emonda aeolus aero integrated bar and stem. I don´t think it will be compatible with other bar/ stem combinations. I´m sure other k edge mounts will work as they are engineered to fit universally.

Ciao, per quanto riguarda l'innesto, sì, è lo stesso del 1030 (il modello che utilizzo io con questo supporto), però, le dimensioni dei due device, si differenziano e, il 1040, è 3 mm più lungo del 1030. IO, il 1030, noto che ci sta esattamente ed intendo come distanza tra la fine della curva manubrio (piatta anche la mia, aero, la H02 Magnussen della Ursus), e la parte posteriore del 1030 montato. Ma qui entra in gioco il tipo di curva che hai tu. Occorre vedere se, una volta posizionata la staffa, il 1040 può inseririsi e, soprattutto, ruotare in posizione ferma senza ad andare ad urtare la curva. La distanza della staffa è: lunghezza totale (inizio / fine: 141 mm), distanza tra i due fori delle viti di posizionamento (centro foro / centro foro): 45 mm. Tieni presente che un minimo di gioco esiste, quindi, uno o due mm di scarto li hai. Concludendo col dirti che è il migliore che io abbia mai provato ! E' stabile, massiccio, solido seppur leggero, il Garmin non muove nè vibra e, tra l'altro, tieni presente che il braccio è orientabile, puoi quindi variare la basculabilità dell'Edge una vota montato. I had to purchase a separate camera mount to fit to the underside of the Garmin mount and a match camera bracket to fit to the light but I do believe it is possible. Check the underside of the garmin mount to be sure it will take a camera bracket and same with light
