This isn't the first KMC I've mounted; I'm using a pre-waxed one. Given the exceptionally affordable price, I decided to clean and wax them myself (which is easy and effective with the same brand's excellent emulsion wax). You save about ten euros per chain, and the results I've verified and measured (reported in my review of KMC wax) are excellent. The product is beyond excellent; combined with the lubricant, it's extraordinary.
