Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 1090 chain lock

KRYPTONITE Evolution Series 4 1090 Chain Lock: Uncompromising Security for Your Ride

Secure your investment and gain ultimate peace of mind with the KRYPTONITE Evolution Series 4 1090 Chain Lock. Designed for cyclists and powersport enthusiasts who demand robust security in moderate to high-crime areas, this lock represents the pinnacle of Kryptonite´s legendary anti-theft technology. Whether you´re parking your bicycle, e-bike, or motorcycle, the Evolution 1090 provides a formidable barrier against theft, allowing you to leave your vehicle with confidence.

At the heart of this security system is a formidable 10mm, six-sided chain. These chain links, forged from ultra-hard 3t manganese steel, offer exceptional resistance to cutting and prying attacks from bolt cutters and other leverage tools. The hexagonal shape of the links provides no easy purchase for would-be thieves, ensuring maximum strength and deterrence.

This powerful chain is anchored by Kryptonite´s innovative, patent-pending end link design. This clever engineering secures the final link of the chain directly into the hardened deadbolt of the lock head, eliminating a critical vulnerability often exploited in lesser locks. This seamless integration creates a closed system of defense with no weak points.

The lock head itself is a fortress, featuring a patented, reinforced oval crossbar design that stands strong against leverage and impact attacks. Inside this hardened steel casing lies a high-security disc-style cylinder, a sophisticated mechanism that is proven to be highly resistant against both picking and drilling attempts. To ensure long-lasting, smooth operation in all weather conditions, a sliding dustcover shields the cylinder from dirt, grime, and moisture, significantly extending the life of the lock.

Practicality is key, which is why the Evolution 1090 comes with a set of three durable stainless steel keys. One key is thoughtfully equipped with a high-intensity, replaceable battery-powered LED light, making it effortless to operate the lock in low-light or nighttime conditions. The other two are new, ergonomic ‘I” keys, designed for comfortable and easy use.

To protect your vehicle’s finish, the entire length of the chain is encased in a durable, weather-resistant nylon sleeve. This protective cover prevents the hardened steel from scratching your bike’s paintwork, keeping your ride looking pristine while it’s secured.

Furthermore, your purchase is backed by Kryptonite´s invaluable Key Safe Program. By registering your lock online, you gain the assurance that if you ever lose your keys, your first replacement set will be shipped to you free of charge, saving you from a potentially costly and inconvenient situation.
