Product description of Look Keo Cleat Protector

Description summary

Shield your LOOK Keo cleats from wear and tear with these essential protectors. Designed to extend cleat lifespan by preventing abrasion from walking, they also feature enhanced anti-slip traction for safe, confident movement off the bike. Preserve your performance and save money on replacements. Lightweight and easy to attach, these protectors are a must-have accessory for all LOOK Keo pedal users

LOOK Keo Cleat Protector | Essential Protection for Your Bike Cleats

Protect your investment and walk with confidence with the official LOOK Keo Cleat Protector. Designed as an essential accessory for any cyclist using the LOOK Keo pedal system, these covers are the ultimate solution to the wear and tear your cleats endure when you´re off the bike. Stop the awkward, slippery shuffle from your bike to the café and extend the life of your most critical connection point to the pedal. The Look Keo Cover is a small addition to your kit that delivers significant benefits in performance, safety, and cost-savings.

Key Benefits

Extend the Lifespan of Your Cleats:
Walking on abrasive surfaces like pavement and gravel grinds down your cleats, leading to a loose pedal connection and premature replacement. The LOOK Keo Cover acts as a durable shield, protecting the cleat´s contact points and engagement surfaces. By preserving the precise shape and integrity of your cleats, you ensure a crisp, secure, and reliable clip-in and clip-out action every time you ride, saving you money on frequent replacements.

Walk with Confidence and Safety:
Plastic bike cleats on smooth, hard surfaces are a recipe for a slip. These protectors are engineered with a high-traction, anti-slip material on the walking surface. This provides a secure grip on slick café floors, tiles, and other potentially hazardous surfaces, transforming a precarious walk into a safe and stable one. Move around comfortably and securely during your mid-ride coffee stops without fear of slipping.

Preserve Your Performance:
A worn cleat not only feels sloppy but can also negatively impact your power transfer and pedaling efficiency. By using the Keo Cover, you maintain the cleat’s original form, ensuring a solid and consistent interface with your Keo pedals. This means your power goes directly into the drivetrain, just as it was intended.

Main Features

The Keo Cover protects your cleats while walking. They are engineered to be both robust and incredibly user-friendly, making them an indispensable part of your cycling gear.
* Complete Cleat Protection: The design fully encases the vulnerable parts of the cleat, safeguarding them from dirt, debris, and abrasion.
* Enhanced Anti-Slip Traction: Features a textured bottom that offers excellent grip, significantly improving stability and safety when walking.
* Universal Keo Compatibility: These covers are compatible with all Keo pedal cleats. Whether you use the standard LOOK Keo Cleats or the anti-slip KEO GRIP cleats, these protectors fit perfectly.
* Lightweight and Portable: Compact and extremely lightweight, they can be easily stored in a jersey pocket or saddlebag, so you´re always prepared for a stop.
* Effortless Application: Designed for speed and convenience, the covers slip on and off your cleats in seconds, so you can get back on the road or to your coffee quickly.

Look usually pays attention to its product quality. Same goes here, with this very well made cleat case, constructed with precision from robust and gripy material. Totally recommended if you don´t want awkward noises and damaged cleats while walking.

Reliable product

2023/07/19

Rossano

Delivered on schedule. Tested product. It's the second pair I've bought after the first one lasted me more than ten years. Beware of imitations. The difference is made by the quality of the rubber they are made of. The other cleat covers fall apart very quickly.

Light and good grip. It takes a bit to get the protectors in the first time, but then it is very easy to put on and take off

Fit well.

2023/04/14

Pat

I bought these to use with gray keo look cleats, and they fit well. Wearing them lifts up your toes a bit, however. so you likely won't be walking completely naturally. However, they do have superior grip to walking on keo look cleats without protectors. They're easy to put on and take off, but they feel very securely attached when walking.

Very useful product.
