You must replace the Mavic, Shimano compatable cassette body with a Campagnolo compatable body . then if using a 10 spd, cassette place a spacer between it and the hub, 1,8 mm generally supplied with the cassettes, Tony O Neill.

The Mavic Aksium Road Rear Wheel has 20 spokes and comes with a Shimano/Sram freehub. You would need to convert the freehub to Campagnolo freehub. (I have needed to do this previously)
