Designed for gravel but suited to all things drop bar, the MERIDA Expert GR bar comes in multiple options to suit riders of all shapes and sizes. All sizes feature a comfortable 12° of flair, 81 mm reach, and 130 mm drop, providing an ergonomic and confidence-inspiring cockpit for long days in the saddle. Built from robust AL6061 aluminum and weighing just 360 g (for the 440 mm version), the Expert GR is tough, lightweight, and offers exceptional value. Its sophisticated matt black finish with gloss details ensures it will seamlessly match and enhance the aesthetic of any bike.

Enhanced Control and Stability on Unpredictable Terrain

The defining feature of the MERIDA Expert GR is its 12-degree flair. This outward sweep of the drops significantly widens your grip, providing superior stability and leverage when navigating technical descents, loose gravel, or singletrack sections. This enhanced control allows you to ride with more confidence and precision, while also creating more clearance for your wrists and preventing interference with handlebar bags, making it an ideal choice for bikepacking and adventure touring.

Ergonomic Design for All-Day Comfort

Comfort is paramount, and the Expert GR delivers. The carefully considered geometry, featuring an 81 mm reach and a 130 mm drop, promotes a comfortable and sustainable riding position. This ergonomic setup reduces strain on your back, shoulders, and hands during long-distance rides. The shallow drop makes it easy to transition between the hoods and the drops, ensuring you can quickly adapt your posture for climbing, sprinting, or seeking an aerodynamic advantage. This non-integrated design allows for maximum adjustability with your preferred stem and shifters.

Lightweight Durability and Premium Finish

Constructed from high-quality AL6061 aluminum, this handlebar strikes the perfect balance between strength, stiffness, and low weight. It is engineered to withstand the rigors of off-road riding without adding unnecessary grams to your build. The sleek, understated aesthetic, featuring a matt black sandblasted finish complemented by subtle gloss black details, provides a premium look that will elevate the appearance of your entire bicycle.
