As a crucial component in the Bike Parts category, this lever is engineered to elevate the performance of your ride, especially when paired with a modern 1x drivetrain. Designed for the specific demands of gravel and all-road cycling, it provides the reliability and ergonomic excellence needed to tackle any terrain with confidence. This is more than just a lever; it´s your connection to confident braking and a more enjoyable experience in the saddle.

This dedicated brake-only lever is the perfect match for 1x9 (1s / 9s) speed setups, providing a clean and uncluttered cockpit. Its design is born from the understanding that entry-level and value-focused gravel bikes should benefit from specific drivetrains, just like more specialized bikes. The lever is a cornerstone of the SWORD BLACK group, a range of functional products that deliver an exceptional quality-to-price ratio. This ecosystem includes robust 1x and 2x derailleurs and cranksets, all unified by a commitment to durability and user-friendly ergonomics for flared (flared) handlebars. With these components, SWORD BLACK has become MICROSHIFT´s most popular and accessible groupset to date.

The standout feature of this brake lever is its gravel-specific ergonomics. The hood shape and lever blade are meticulously crafted to provide a secure, comfortable grip, giving you maximum control from multiple hand positions. This is particularly noticeable when riding on rough surfaces or during long descents where confident braking is paramount. The lever is enhanced with a high-grip silicone cover and a padded hood, ensuring a tactile and non-slip contact point even in wet or challenging conditions.

Engineered for reliability, the lever is fully compatible with mechanical disc brakes, offering consistent and powerful stopping performance when you need it most. The internal cable routing contributes to a sleek, modern aesthetic while also protecting the brake cable from dirt and debris, ensuring smooth operation over time. Whether you are building a new dream bike or upgrading an existing one, this lever offers wide compatibility within the MICROSHIFT family, working seamlessly with SWORD, SWORD BLACK, and ADVENT components. Experience the superior feel and performance that a purpose-built gravel component can provide.
