Just bought a set of these, in 700x45c, but they only measure 40mm after assembly. Measured with both minimum and maximum air pressure. Inner rim width is 21mm, and uses a tube. Is my rim too narrow, or is it because I don´t have tubeless? It says 45c on the package, but under specifications on the product page it says "Etrto Size = 40-622."

Kind regards. Reviewing the tire diameter specifications, it says 28-700. I´m looking for this tire for a 29-inch rim in the same size and have installed the Pathfinder TLR Fast Gravel 700-35, but I´m looking for a more robust one with more grip. I´d like to know if I can install the Pirelli Cinturato Gravel 700-45. It worries me a little that the specifications say 28 inches and not 29 inches. I really appreciate your guidance.

Although used in different contexts, both measurements refer to the same rim diameter, which is 622 mm. The main difference lies in context and nomenclature. 700C is more common on road bikes, while 29 inches is primarily used on mountain bikes.

Picture shown is not correct. Tyre is actually the adventure style and not the M. Also tyre has very stiff sidewalls and took the bike shop 30 minutes to fit at extra cost. Even with an air reservoir it would not seat. That said once fitted tyre is very good. Tire type: Folding tire. Application: Bikepacking, Gravel. Size (inch): 28" | 700 x 45C. Size (ETRTO): 45 - 622. Construction: Nylon bead-to-bead, TLR. Rubber compound: Pro Compound Gravel. Carcass: 60 TPI | ProWall Gravel. tubeless compatible: yes, tubeless ready.
