Ritchey CPR 12+ Multitool – Compact, Lightweight Bike Maintenance

The Compact Pocket Rescue tool is back! Born from the crucible of professional racing, the Ritchey CPR 12+ Multitool is your essential partner for every ride, offering unparalleled reliability and a legendary heritage in a remarkably compact form. This isn´t just another tool; it´s a piece of cycling history, redesigned for the modern cyclist who demands performance, low weight, and absolute dependability.

The story of this indispensable tool begins with a race-defining moment. The first CPR Tool was developed in 1992 out of pure race necessity. While leading a World Cup XC race, legendary rider Thomas Frischknecht’s stem slipped, forcing him to stop, find a tool, tighten it, and lose valuable, unrecoverable time. Tom Ritchey knew he couldn’t afford to send his riders across the world to race and have them not finish due to simple mechanicals that could be easily fixed with the right equipment. Thus, the original CPR9 was born to solve this problem, becoming a pocket-sized insurance policy against race-ending mishaps. Lightweight and reliable, the CPR tool was the first multi-tool specifically designed to aid a rider in need while out on the trail or road.

Carrying on that legacy, the new and improved Ritchey CPR 12+ multitool is a masterclass in functional design. This investment cast CPR tool ingeniously packs over 12 individual tools into one small, easy-to-stash utensil, ensuring you are prepared for the most common trailside or roadside repairs. The comprehensive toolset is designed to handle nearly any mechanical issue, featuring an integrated chain breaker for emergency chain repairs, a durable tire lever, a Phillips screwdriver for adjustments, and both T20 and T25 Torx keys for modern bike components. It also includes a 14g spoke wrench for quick wheel truing, alongside a full suite of essential Allen keys covering sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8.

Engineered for the discerning cyclist, the CPR 12+ weighs in at an incredible 96 grams. Its featherlight construction means you´ll barely notice it in your jersey pocket or saddle bag, eliminating any excuse to leave it behind. The compact 2x3” design is thoughtfully crafted to be unobtrusive yet easily accessible when you need it most. Durability is paramount, which is why it features resilient investment cast steel keys paired with a strong and lightweight alloy lever, promising years of faithful service.

Choose the Ritchey CPR 12+ and carry more than just a tool; carry the confidence to ride further and the peace of mind that comes from being prepared. It’s the ultimate expression of Tom Ritchey´s problem-solving philosophy: an elegant, lightweight, and robust solution that will keep you rolling, no matter what challenges the ride presents
