What would be the difference between the light model and the high model? Could one be used instead of the other?

For any information go to the Rockshox Trailhead website enter the serial number found on the rear of the fork and you will find everything you need to know.

According to RockShox service manual the Light version is for lower legs lubrication and the Heavy version is for air spring lubrication in upper tubes. I wouldn´t replace them with each other as the manufacturer has optimised the weights of the oils for each purpose.
