Can i replase an old FSA PS30 bottom bracket with the shimano Dura Ace 9100? The frame supports BB386EVO type.

Hello, the Shimano Dura Ace 9100 bottom bracket is designed for frames with a width of 68 mm BSA (the English screw-in standard) and for axle diameters of 24 mm. You will not be able to mount your bottom bracket in 30 mm or a BSA 68 screw-in.

By indicating that your frame supports BB386EVO it means that it is a bottom bracket/cups WITH Thread, so this Dura-Ace would work for the frame of your bike but would NOT work for cranks with a 30mm axle, that is: This Shimano bottom bracket/cups works for a 24mm crank axle = the inner diameter of the bottom bracket is 24mm. The cranks you indicate are PS30 = 30 indicates 30mm so you would have to buy a bottom bracket that is for cranks with a 30mm axle. I hope I have resolved your doubts. Thank you very much! Hi, yes. It is for English BSA thread. Or at least the one I received. I am using it on a 68mm wide steel frame, with a 105 R7000 crankset and everything works perfectly. Regards
