Used in 1x11 MTB and also on the road for years. In 1x11 it makes 2500 to 3000 km in winter with more rain and mud, and in the hot months it can reach 3500. On road it is about 11,000 km on mixed routes (flat and mountain). Chains were once better in durability, but that's another story.

Yes, you just have to look at the gears behind it. If an 11-speed is suitable, the chains are more or less standard. An 11-speed SRAM also works with Shimano. Just be careful of the long ones :-)
