XT-MT800 and RT-CL800 are both centre lock rotors, XT=MTB CL=Ultegra Road. Internal lock relates to the lock ring that locks the rotor to the hub, Internal lock ring is tightened/loosened by cassette lock ring tool, internally. And external lock ring is tightened by bottom bracket tool, externally
