But my reason for buying it (from an overseas seller because Sigma is hard to find in Australia) is that it has a quarter twist to remove, rather than requiring fiddling with a release tab then pushing hard in a direction that you hope is the right direction.

Quality and reliability. The only flaw for me is that the screen does not turn off when not in use, always remaining "on". I believe it may affect battery life, even though the instructions state a two-year life. Unlike a previous Sigma model with the same functions and which I have used for many years which turned off instead.
