ROX 4.0 – GPS bike computer with altitude measurement The ROX 4.0 GPS bike computer supports bikers on bike tours with 30 functions and user-friendly controls, enabling them to focus on what is important: enjoying biking. The extra-large display reliably shows data such as altitude profile, speed, distance, and training time. The ROX 4.0 bike computer also shows navigation information and connection to an e-bike and external sensors. Use the free SIGMA RIDE app to track your current ride data and analyse them at any time on your smart phone.
The high-contrast ROX 4.0 display´s dimensions and extra-large numbers make it easy to read, even during a ride. The special Red Circle on the upper right corner of the display is highlighted in colour and offers bikers innovative, interesting display of training data. With the free SIGMA RIDE app for smart phones, the computer can be used to set individualised display views in just a few clicks – up to six screens can be configured, each with three values. The fourth value, current speed, is shown continuously on the display.
The ROX 4.0 bike computer can be positioned on the handlebars in a few easy steps. There is no need to mount cables or sensors. After it is switched on, the ROX 4.0 uses GPS and GLONASS to determine the biker´s position within seconds. The user-friendly operation with three buttons enables you to start a bike tour right away.
A true highlight of the ROX 4.0 is the integrated air pressure sensor. It uses barometric readings to provide bikers with reliable information about altitude and to determine inclines and declines, allowing a precise recording of the track. You can also call up a graphical altitude profile on the ROX 4.0. The home altitude at the beginning of the tour is determined automatically from GPS or can be set manually.
The ROX 4.0 bike computer can be connected to the komoot app on your smart phone. Your smart phone can therefore stay in your pocket during the bike tour. Turn-by-turn instructions can be shown either as an arrow on the display or inside the Red Circle. This circle on the display is highlighted in colour and also shows the distance to the next turn-off as a coloured bar that gets shorter as the turn-off gets nearer. The number of metres to the next turn-off is also displayed next to the circle.
Thanks to ANT+ and BLE, external sensors such as power meters and speed, heart, and cadence sensors can also be connected to the ROX 4.0, so those who want even more data and even greater value precision can keep an eye on all of them if they wish.
The ROX 4.0 is e-bike-ready and can be easily connected to many e-bikes. Your GPS bike computer establishes a connection to the compatible e-bike system and shows the current assist mode, battery status, and light and other data on the display or in the Red Circle.
The SIGMA RIDE app collects training data and transfers them via BLE from your ROX 4.0 to the smart phone. The most important data and statistics can be displayed in an organised form with coloured data fields and read quickly from the screen and assessed conveniently at any time.
The ROX 4.0 is delivered with the conventional GPS handlebar bracket. This disc can be mounted to the handlebars or stem with cable ties, and the ROX 4.0 can be twisted into it and fixed in place with a single click.
The Overclamp Butler is available in the HR and SENSOR Set and as an accessory. It enables you to perfectly align your ROX 4.0 bike computer, even if you have a short stem. The computer head can thus be positioned centrally above the stem at the level of the handlebars. The Butler fits on handlebars with diameters of 31.8 to 35 mm.

I was looking for a cycle computer of a certain quality for the bike. It has exceeded all my expectations. I wear glasses and I see it perfectly. I expected it to be a little bigger, but the numbers and the bottom looked good. It has many functions, although perhaps now it would be necessary to configure the heart rate zones. Maybe in a future update of the app. I recommend it 100%.

I have carried out 3 runs and I can state that: - pairing with the Selphone (using SIGMA APP) is intuitive, fast and completely customizable - the distance and altitude values recorded during the run were compared with those recorded with another GPS DEVICE (extensively tested) and are absolutely true - I attached the SIGMA ROX 4.0 to the bike using GARMIN mounts and everything works solidly and securely. - 5 hours of use (including the initial pairing with the phone) required 12% of battery (therefore in line with what SIGMA declared) - operation using the 3 buttons is convenient and simple - the SIGMA APP exports the files recorded during the ride in .FIT format, therefore perfectly compatible for loading onto any other APP for sports or tourism use. I am therefore absolutely satisfied with the product, I recommend it without reservations and I compliment the fast shipping and sturdy packaging

I only bought the cycle computer, the most basic package. Reading is great even in bad conditions (very sunny or at night). The battery has lasted about 12-15 hours and part of that is with the GPS giving route directions. The GPS needs some getting used to but it works very well. For this price you can go anywhere and you know you can go there and back. The interface with the Sigma Ride App (free application) is very simple and fast and it is not necessary to purchase maps from external platforms to have altimetry (simplified) and route indications. So far, I would buy again and highly recommend.

Je suis ravi de ce produit. Il est bien assez complet pour mes besoins. L’écran est d’une belle grandeur et facile à lire et à configurer. L'appareillage avec le smartphone et l’ajout des deux apps gratuites est un gros plus. Déjà, une mise à jour intéressante du micro logiciel a été produite par la compagnie. I wanted to use the tool for a few times before writing a review, overall it works well and is quite intuitive, let's say in the norm for the price range. However, it would be necessary to improve the management of start and stop of the training (phase in which it records the track and data) it happens that sometimes it interrupts it and if you do not notice the display pieces of recording are lost, you find a straight line along the recorded track . Furthermore, it happened to me that after synchronization with the MyRide App, the activity carried out during the day did not appear. Activity regularly recorded within the device, then retrieved manually. In conclusion, a valid tool in relation to the price, the connectivity with different ebikes is much appreciated, keys a little too large, it is easy to press them without wanting to, clear display is always visible, we hope for some firmware update to improve the aspects described above.

Fabulous all I need bike computer. Did not need all the fancy bells and whistles, but did need turn by turn navigation as we go camping a lot and I like to discover new areas. Provides me with all the data I need, with notifications and connectivity to my devices. Could not be happier and would suggest and purchase again.

Delivery was fast and on time. The first pairing between device and smartphone presented some difficulties. Reinstalled the Sigma Ride app the problems were solved. Sigma Ride is functional and pleasant for me to use. Rox 4.0 is light and compact, easy to place on the handlebar. The support is fixed with electrician clamps, practical and economical, but does not allow the possibility of using it on more than one bike. Excellent visibility of the display in all light conditions and the possibility of programming its functions via the Sigma Ride app is useful. The combination with Komoot is effective. I traveled about 400Km with Rox 4.0 but found the navigator function to be mediocre, certainly to be improved. I found a gap of several seconds, if you prefer meters, between the turn indication displayed on Rox 4.0 compared to Komoot or a cartographic map. The delay is quite annoying when dealing with crossroads, roundabouts or navigating in the city. For precise navigation it is necessary to slow down to a crawl near the intersection, or keep the smartphone in sight, making navigation with Rox 4.0 useless. The autonomy is very good, but lower than that declared if the navigation function is activated

I am going to clarify one thing, the cycle computer itself does not need any accessories to measure all the data that are necessary for your bike rides. If you have a pulse meter that connects to the Bluetooth system or another, it will help you and more if it is from the Sigma brand, I have one and it pairs without problem, and everything else, the gps will measure it, geolocate your bike and go. As for the accessories, they are just that, accessories in case you want me to read other parameters more finely. For the rest, as supplied, it serves to give you the necessary information.

Arrived quickly, just turned on easy initial setup. Used only once per hour, it has detected a much lower altitude than the Sports-Tracker app used at the same time on the smartphone, it seems to me that the slope updates much earlier downhill than uphill but I expect to be able to use it better after a few more exit, I will also try the integration with Komoot as soon as possible, while I find some difficulties in the interface with the app. all things considered, I would say that for just over 60 euros it is an excellent device, small, light, easy to read and place, I ordered 3 more handlebar mounts to rotate it on my bikes.

For me personally, a great combination of navigation and bike computer, because I wanted to replace my dependency on the cell phone when I don't have to. The NAVI function has to be optimized under Views so that the street name and the remaining distance to the change of direction are displayed. Find the height measurement - & profile very successful. All in one - RECOMMENDED!

Excellent first impression, he needed to update the firmware (2 times in sequence) to respond more smoothly, better to use the software from a PC in my case the APP did not allow the upgrade. The display is very readable and customizable. I have been using SIGMA for years, products that are always lasting over time. Excellent sensitivity to the GPS signal, easy to use and share route data. Very flexible to be used on different bikes, even ebikes. OPTIMAL
