Good product to use before applying the wax, removing the oil is essential.

I give a rinse with rubbing alcohol because it just makes sense. A worthwhile easy step to do.

You can just use the cleaner like this. I always put it on a cloth and rub the chain through it. Then Smoove wax over it and done
