Very handy item to have and would suggest anyone with a compatible spcecialized bike gets one. Handy waterproof place to put spare tubes, CO2 and multi-tool. Also it's low on the bike which is good for centre of gravity. Took a while to arrive here in the UK which is the only downside

Hi, you need to check the distance between the bottle holder and the other hole in the frame to see if it is greater than the length of the swat. My Specialized has 3 holes in the frame, 2 for the bottle and the other for the swat. If you buy the Specialized cage, it´s better because it still attaches to the swat at the top with another screw. If you need more help, let me know.

You´ll need three bolts. Two for the bottle cage and one for the tool holder. To mount this accessory, you´ll need the original, dedicated Specialized bottle cage, which has a hole in the bottom of the cage so you can attach it to the tool holder with a bolt!

Great question - I would say it´s possible, but I wouldn´t recommend it. The SWAT box attaches in 2 places - 1. at the top it attaches to the Z cage bottle holder and 2. through the body on to the frame (the same way your bottle cage attaches to your frame). It´s designed for the Specialized Epic frames because these have 3 bottle cage mounts on the down tube. In theory you have 2 options: 1. only attach it to the bottle cage (but might not be sturdy enough, especially when flying downhill!) or 2. drill a new bolt hole in your frame (not recommended!) Hope that helps.

First of all you need to take 3 screws in the frame. If you only carry the 2 from the bottle holder you will not be able to. Secondly, the shape of the painting depends a lot.

hi you have to buy a specific swat bottle cage which has a hole underneath to lock the tool holder together... but keep in mind that: I mounted it on an s-works which has an extra threaded hole specifically to best accommodate the swat kit
