SQlab 612 Ergowave R saddle

SQLAB 612 Ergowave R Saddle: Uncompromised Performance for Road and MTB

Elevate your racing performance with the SQLAB 612 Ergowave R, the ultimate saddle engineered for victory. Designed for the competitive cyclist who demands speed, efficiency, and ergonomic support, this new saddle is your key to unlocking maximum power on the road, in XC events, and during demanding MTB races. It represents the pinnacle of SQlab´s research into biomechanics, delivering a race-ready platform for both men and women who refuse to compromise.

The 612 Ergowave R is purpose-built to be shorter, narrower, lighter, and faster. This streamlined profile provides significantly more freedom of movement and reduces friction, allowing you to maintain an aggressive, aerodynamic riding position for longer periods. Weighing in from a remarkable 150g, thanks in part to its advanced S-Tube rails, this saddle shaves critical grams from your bike, making it a dream for weight-conscious racers and climbers.

At the heart of its revolutionary design is the signature SQlab ERGOWAVE® shape. This scientifically developed contour features a raised rear section that provides exceptional posterior support. This raised rear provides more grip and better power transmission, giving you a stable platform to push against, which is a great advantage on straights and steep slopes. It ensures every watt of power you produce is transferred directly to the pedals, eliminating energy waste and improving acceleration.

Furthermore, the iconic wave-like shape descends towards the front, culminating in a central dip. This design of the SQlab ERGOWAVE® shape soothes the soft tissue area and prevents poor posture by effectively relieving pressure from the sensitive perineal region. By directing the rider´s weight onto the robust sit bones, it enhances comfort on long rides and prevents the numbness and discomfort that can hinder performance. This allows for a more stable and sustainable riding posture, even during the most intense efforts.
