Just built a new tt bike. Very pleased to have disc brakes on my tt bike. These work well with the rest of my Sram axs set up. There is an add on to incorporate shifters into the lever, but I don’t need that the way I’ve set mine up. Very pleased.

Good Choice for Hydraulic Brakes on Mechanical Tri Bike

If you are building a TT/Triathlon bike with mechanical bar end shifting and wish to have hydraulic disc brakes, choices are still limited for a hydraulic brake system that does not include built-in gear shifters. The Sram S-900 and a product by TRP are the leading contenders - Shimano does not seem to make a hydraulic TT brake lever WITHOUT DI2 shifters built in and to buy the Shimano levers with Di2 is a very expensive proposition for a function (shifting) that one does not use. Braking power is good with the Sram and the tolerances for rotor wide enough to reduce chances of rotor rub - something which can be an issue with the narrow tolerance TRP. Shift levers are comfortable. Normally the front calliper mounting bracket (brackets are rotor size specific) is additionally required as not sold with the system and sometimes the rear also - depending on frame design and rotor size. I could not find the adaptors on Bikeinn. Nice to see the product on sale. Delivery was smooth and quick.

The listing is per brake, the hoses are supplied in differing lengths for for or rear. You may also need to adjust the required adaptor to fit the caliper. The lever can be used for either side and is not left/right specific.
