An excellent product for replacing the standard slide that originally came with your frame. Installation requires virtually no tools (other than the Hollowtech 2 wrench), and you don't need a bearing press kit because the bottom bracket is threaded and presses itself into the bottom bracket shell. I've been riding it for a month now in very dirty conditions. I use this bottom bracket on my cross-country bike.

No, I don’t believe they will be compatible; the BB71-41A is for a mountain bike, whereas the BB841T-41 is for a road bike. They have different shell widths (the road bike being narrower). Hope this helps.
