Not yet tried but already assembled. The assembly instructions lack a little precision: - possibility of losing the circlips of the screws of the strap tightening device - The direction of rotation according to the assembly phases (1/ approach 2/ tensioning of the strap) n´ is not specified. Apart from that, the product seems solid and very stable.

This product is of good design for a maximum load weight of 10kg. Installation is easy. In my opinion, plan for a hectic and reasonably loaded exit and check the tightness of the screws and whether it is necessary to stick to the thread lock, a very small sticking point can always slow down unexpected loosening of screws. The front wheel sometimes takes big shocks in the event of inadvertence and it may not be negligible. Using a MTB for comute, it was a long search till I finally found on the TetraRack M1 the perfect solution for a portable rack for me. It is strong and has a fantastic design: simple & functional. Quite easy to install (a few minutes) after unboxing it. Worth each penny!!!

i recently replaced my city bike with a hardtail XC MTB that would have to do 'city' duties as well - errands and such - so i needed a rack. topeak have engineering a very slick solution for added a rack to an MTB fork! this installed securely and while i have loaded it yet, the leveling feature is NICE and i am stoked to use it!

Hello, I have a Rockrider 700 S with 29" tires. I managed to install the luggage rack at the front but it is true that there is only 1 cm of space between the luggage rack and the wheel (instead of 2 cm which is recommended). But it´s okay, I did the test in practice and it works. It could get stuck if there was a lot of mud but otherwise it doesn´t bother me.

I used the product on a Specialized Epic Full Suspension MTB, I rode more than 800 km on the way to Santiago de Compostela and the product performed perfectly, there was no movement with the weight of the luggage along the route. What you should check is the width of the Mate-X 750W tire with the maximum width of the product, if it is OK, I believe you can use it perfectly on your Matebike.
