Quickly and easily installed, nearly flawless design. One screw's diameter was too small, so I replaced it with a spare from my tool kit. My panniers fit perfectly and the bottom clip does not detach itself from the lower attachment point while riding on rough roads, which is one of the reasons I replaced my previous rack. Delivery was a little slower than advertised, but considering my order travelled from the Netherlands to Canada, I'm not really dissapointed; delivery time was still very reasonable.

I am riding 700x48 tyres on my Trek520. Will this rack have enough clearance?

I would say no problem. I have it on a 29" mountain bike (which should require more space) and it works perfectly. Because of the model of my bike, I had to buy the longer mounting tubes separately, which they also sell here. With those tubes, it is certain that practically any bike can use them.

The manufacturer claims that it can carry 26 kg (tested at 40 kg). If you want to carry so much luggage that this carrier might break, a cargo bike is the way to go.
