The tape width needs to suit your wheel rim width, so that when the tape is pressed into the rim bed it fits in between the edges. So, the tape width is to suit your rim, not the tyre. If youre not sure, get both widths. Its not a big cost. I would absolutely go for tape, over glue. It is so much quicker,easier, and cleaner. The adhesion is excellent. I 100% recommend Vittoria Corsa Pro Tubulars.

Hi there. It depends on the width of the rim your wheel has. If it is less than 23mm, I advise you to mount the 19mm one. If it is larger than 23mm, I recommend the 22mm. All the best!
