This has what I seek in a helmet: Light, comfortable, easy to adjust, simple clasp and lots of ventilation. Like democracy, Uvex helmets are no longer available in the U.S. so I was happy to get it from Europe. Good helmet and reasonable price.

This is a my second UVEX road helmet. I had more than 10 road helmets last 15 years. This new Surge is one of the best and close to my old favorite S-works Prevail2 without crazy high-end price tag. Highly recommended!

The Uvex Surge helmet is a very well-ventilated road bike helmet at an affordable price. The in-mold technology ensures top strength with a low overall weight. The size adjustment with the dial works easily, even while riding. There's also a practical goggle holder that securely holds cycling glasses. An optional attachable aero cover is available that partially covers the ventilation openings. I highly recommend this UVEX cycling helmet, which is also used by the professional team Intermarché-Wanty.
