Elevate your ride and shave critical grams with the XON MTB Quick Release Skewer Set, a premium upgrade for the discerning mountain bike enthusiast. Designed for the demanding world of MTB cycling, this front and rear skewer set is engineered for riders who refuse to compromise on performance, weight, or security. Whether you´re a cross-country racer chasing podiums or a trail rider looking to lighten your load for epic climbs, these axles deliver a tangible advantage you can feel from the very first pedal stroke.

Unlock Peak Performance with Key Benefits

Experience a significant reduction in rotational mass where it matters most. At an astonishingly low weight, this set is one of the most effective upgrades for improving acceleration, enhancing climbing efficiency, and creating a more responsive and nimble feel on the trail. The core benefit lies in its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. While incredibly light, the robust construction provides powerful and reliable clamping force, ensuring your wheels remain securely locked in place even during the most aggressive descents and technical manoeuvres. The precision-engineered cam mechanism, operating on a low-friction synthetic insert, offers a smooth, consistent, and confident lever action every time, allowing for quick wheel changes without sacrificing security.

Engineered with Uncompromising Features

The heart of these high-performance axes is a central axle crafted from high-grade titanium, a material celebrated in aerospace and competitive sports for its remarkable strength and featherlight properties. The lever and nut are meticulously machined from a solid block of 7075 series aluminium using advanced CNC technology. This process guarantees exacting tolerances for a perfect fit and flawless operation, far surpassing the quality of standard, cast or forged skewers. The ergonomic design of the lever provides excellent grip and leverage, making it easy to operate even with gloves on or in cold, wet conditions. A durable, sleek black anodized finish not only gives your bike a professional, custom look but also provides an extra layer of protection against corrosion and wear, ensuring these skewers look and perform their best for seasons to come.

This component is a testament to XON´s commitment to creating high-end cycling parts that push the boundaries of performance. It´s the perfect finishing touch for any custom build or a straightforward, high-impact upgrade for your stock mountain bike. Replace your heavy, standard steel skewers and instantly feel the difference in your bike´s agility and speed.
