Helios SR is the lightweight, minimalist shoe by La Sportiva dedicated to the world of sky races and vertical competitions.

Every detail has been thought to keep weight at a minimum without compromising the structural and protective features fundamental for racing. The structure of the uppers is created using a lightweight, high frequency frame with a soft, breathable and comfortable EVA net. Maximum care and attention has been given to flexibility, to promote natural foot movement without constricting the front flex zones. Helios SR uses a snug fitting Slip-on construction upper for ease of use. The injected midsole with Morpho Dynamic technology works in synergy with the FriXion XT dual density sole, to provide optimal shock absorption. Features such as the reflective inserts, the reinforcement zones on the toe and heel in micro fibre and the internal protective silk screening, have been created to satisfy the most demanding off-road runners. Helios SR takes minimalism to the racetracks.

Furthermore, EVA injected midsoles drastically reduce the?squash? effect of the EVA over time, allowing the product to maintain the same characteristics and high performance for its entire duration.
- Some La Sportiva models use standard compression molded EVA midsoles for the durability and reactivity on soft ground where the need for shock absorption is reduced.

Ortholite MRE:
- The Mountain Running models from SS2014 collection adopt the exclusive La Sportiva insoles by Ortholite, with 2 different thickness. Both models are available in men and women version and differs for the materials? densities.
