2 and a half layer Hard Shell. The Vetta Evo jacket is completely sealed, waterproof, compressible and breathable. It has an adjustable hood and stretch inserts to facilitate movement.
Features:
- The hood is to be worn over the helmet and is adjusted by means of a drawstring at the back
- The visor is stiff
- The front zippers are waterproof for increased protection
- Waterproof flap under the zipper, with fabric chin protection
- Pockets closed by a waterproof zipper
- Adjustable drawstring at the hem
- Sleeve edge adjustment toggle
- Protected air vent at the back
- Packing bag
Fabrics:
- The K-Dry membrane guarantees a 20,000 mm water column with breathability measured at 18,000 g/m2/24 hours.
- The DWR finish helps repel water and dirt from the fabric surface.
- The internal 15 mm tape promotes better transpiration and better outward look.
- All the zippers on this garment are YKK®.
- It has a technical fit characterised by spare lines, accurately designed to reduce cuts on the garment to a minimum and reduce the taping, the stretch inserts on shoulders and hem increase the freedom of movement.

Not expected. When you read about a product, you just hope that you are lucky. The product is very, very good quality. By size 100% hit in the table. I do speleology myself. Simply irreplaceable. Affordable pricing, very compact and lightweight, I am using many Karpos items for its practical and thoughtful design, but wish they would change their logo printing partner. It always came off after 3-5 washings using 30C and outdoor care regimes.

so i bought this jacket having ,heard or knowing nothing about this company. the italian new kid on the block perhaps .. there are literally no reviews on the internet. so i bought it anyways, more from curiosity than anything else - usually with gear for hiking i take a much more cautious and sensible approach - and since it arrived i haven´t had a single rainy day. i bought it for a trip to west papua next month .. the med fit is excellent for me, i´m about 172cm tall ..it´s rather stylish ... super light compared to my last raincoat ... compacts well into a small bag that it comes with. i´m dubious about the wear-ability of this garment tho as it is quite thin and after one night (hoping it would rain) i was slightly wrestled to the ground by an intoxicated mate and afterwards i checked my jacket and sure enough, it had ripped on the air vent flap at the back. seems flimsy to me. expensive and flimsy. i super glued it back .. but still, for a 200.00 dollar jacket i would expect more as it was hardly rough play and i would actually expect more damage from a slippery tumble on a wet trail somewhere exotic. as it has pull cords inbuilt for helmets i´d say they expect some rock climbing in the design of this garment. as for waterproofing ... i´ll come back to write another review once i get to test out a decent downpour. i like the jacket a lot so far ... too expensive tho
