Super light hiking shoe

I have now tested the Merrell MQM Flex on the 50 mega march in Dresden. It started in the rain and despite not being certified to be watertight I had no wet feet. Very good ventilation. Good space in the forefoot area, the toes have enough space and even after 50km the shoe does not become too tight (I always buy 2 sizes larger than I normally wear for long distances from 50km). Even with these 2 sizes larger, the shoe fit perfectly, can be laced well, no slipping when going downhill or "slipping" in the heel area. The sole is comfortable, good cushioning but not too soft. No bubbles on the 50km. I only had concerns about the somewhat high rim on my ankle, which then turned out to be unfounded - "ran away". I also put on my shoes almost brand new for the hike. The only criticism: The grip on smooth asphalt and especially on damp cobblestones is almost non-existent. I slipped and slipped more often. Terrain and rough ground, even mud no problem. Overall, a well-ventilated and lightweight shoe for the long haul.
