Magnificent

I tried it on a bikepacking route and the first experience was great: good thermal insulation, a very pleasant touch and it even withstood a few drops that fell (although it's not waterproof). It compacts a lot when stored and is very light. Good garment that fulfills its functions.

The Montane Featherlite down jacket is amazing. Quality is amazing. Keeps you warm and the fit is so nice with very useful features and many pockets! I would size up or atleast between two sizes take the bigger one. Only bad thing was the shipping since it took over a month, I can kinda get it since it was over christmas and new years-time but still… I won't take stars off though since Montane rocks !! Thank you!

My first Montane product. Enough to make me a fan! Nicely detailed product, FANTASTIC fit, allows a fleece underneath. Loft is exemplary, hood is very nice, pockets and zips are a hoot to operate. Lighter than the opposition. The feeling of the outer fabric is unbelievable and true to Pertex standards it held an unexpected rain more than decently enough. Montane Featherlight. 5 stars.

The weight / insulating power of the jacket is incredible. I haven't really put it to the test in the cold, but so far I'm very impressed. When compacted to the maximum it occupies the same space in the bag as a t-shirt.
