The exclusive Michelin Ultra Train sole which enables the shoe to penetrate into the ground and creates a good friction against the wet rocks while you are trail running. The Michelin Outdoor Compound X(OCX) provides high performance and stability even in wet and slippery surfaces. It works exceptionally well in all sorts of trails. Also, it can effortlessly manage all climate conditions and is resilient.
The Anti-Rock Heel Cup fixes the heel firmly in place, adding extra stability and protection. In addition, the Ortholite® footbed provides additional cushioning and wicks away moisture, helping to keep feet cool and dry. And the stretch gaiters keep out trail debris, such as grit and leaves.

Even if the sole wears out relatively quickly, the shoes are great in fit, grip, pleasantly soft on the tread, yet stable on the sides and really waterproof.

Great tracking/walking trainers. They feel very solid but very light and comfortable. I was a merrell fan before these but didn't like their style. These are nice colour too, hopefully waterproof as I haven't tried them in rain. Expensive, but great shoes.

I chose the Salewa Dropline Gtx because they have all the features I was looking for and were offered here at trekkinn at an unbeatable price. The package was delivered within 3 days, which made me happy (I ordered something here for the first time). I took the shoes 1 size bigger and they fit perfectly with hiking socks. They are very light and look stylish. Now to the wearing properties: the sole is surprisingly high for an outdoor shoe at first, and I was worried that I might twist my way while walking. The first time I was worn, I was convinced of the opposite: the shoes are super comfortable - you have the feeling of walking on clouds! And the foot is very stable in the shoe. Running in was also not necessary. There were no pressure marks or anything else. The laces are exceptionally thin but appear to be of sturdy quality. I tested them on mud, stony and wet ground - great grip! No slipping! A very clear buy recommendation from me! For the shoe and the supplier.

Nice shoe, fits perfectly on the foot. I ordered half a size smaller than normal. Perfect for walks, but also just beautiful under jeans. Smooth and correct delivery.
