Excelentes botas las use por primera vez en una caminata de 40km varios amigos me comentaron y lo sé que nunca usar algo nuevo en una caminata tan larga pero dije las domo a ellas o ellas me doman a mi y las dome.
segunda caminata de 50km a 3500msnm sin problema alguno excelentes.
y varias caminatas extras de 10 y 15 kms
pero la prueba reina subir el volcán Citlaltepetl o pico de Orizaba a 5600msnm un poco frías pero la situación climatológica fue una baja de temperatura de -13°c las use con medias gruesas de lana pase un poco de frio pero nada de peligro para mis pies excelentes.
el único pero que le pongo es que en el forro interior es de un color cobre y no como otras botas que es de color gris y viene con la leyenda GORE TEX estas no, las compare con otras del mismo modelo y a si se fabrican con el forro color cobre sin dicha leyenda.
en concreto buenas botas.
espero que me duren unos 5 años como mínimo en caminatas de fin de semana de entre 20 y 30 km.

Looks like I've finally found the ideal boots for my type of foot, small and narrow. The boots I had always made pressure on the first squeeze, forcing the little toe to always be more sore, this model in concrete with laces even further down makes a more balanced adjustment without applying too much pressure. It's the first impression and as they are not molded to my feet yet, I don't think they will look better.
Parece que finalmente encontrei as botas ideias para o meu tipo de pé, pequeno e estreito.
As botas que tive sempre fizeram uma pressão no primeiro aperto obrigando o dedo pequeno ficasse sempre mais dorido, este modelo em concreto tendo atacadores até mais abaixo faz um ajusto mais equilibrado sem fazer muita pressão.
Está a primeira impressão e como ainda não estão moldadas ao meus pés acho que ainda não ficar.melhores.

Excellent 3 season shoe, purchased my second pair a week ago. I used my first pair - a lot - and after 5 years of extensive use, the sole is now dead completely. I will try to replace it though since the rest of the shoe is holding up nicely. Shoe is very comfortable, very supportive, grippy. Narrow fit. Superior quality, very robust shoe (at least with my 65 kg weight). I use it troghout the year, but in my opinion it is not for long winter snowy hikes since it doesn't offer much isolation and warmth. But with warmer socks, I can manage up to 4 hours high intensity winter hike. If it is not high intensity, my feet get very cold.
After my sole got completely worn, grip dissapeared too (of course it did), but they also became uncomfortable to wear on steep rocky terrain for over 10 km. I guess that midsole also got compressed over the years and lost it's function.
If replacing the soles will be succesful I will continue to use my old pair for shorter hikes on undemanding terrain, and for forrest work. I highly reccomend this shoe. If you sometimes do a short run on your hikes - it is a bit too hard shoe for something like that - there are lighter shoes on market for this purpose.

The quality of the product is unquestionable. The finishes and the feel is that of a robust and well-made boot, but personally, both the construction of the boot and the sole is extremely hard, and I would not recommend it for light trekkings, trips with long flat or semi-flat treks, hiking , ride ... they are quite heavy. It is an alpine approach boot, which I am sure will perfectly fulfill its technical role. Finally I have opted for the Salomon X ULTRA 4 GTX, much more versatile, comfortable and light, ideal for traveling and taking everywhere.
La calidad del producto es incuestionable. Los acabados y la sensación es la de una bota robusta y bien hecha, pero personalmente, tanto la construcción de la bota como de la suela es extremadamente dura, y no la aconsejaría para trekkings light, viajes con largas caminatas en plano o semiplano, senderismo, paseo...son bastante pesadas. Se trata de una bota de aproximación alpina, que estoy seguro cumplirá a la perfección su cometido técnico. Finalmente he optado por las Salomon X ULTRA 4 GTX, mucho más versátiles, cómodas y ligeras, ideales para viajar, y llevar a todos lados.

The boots are of very good quality, very technical. Really waterproof, I used them to walk in snowy areas, without problems. I have not used it on ice yet, but I hope very soon and that it works well with crampons. At first they feel heavier than usual trekking shoes, but as time goes by, the body gets used to it. They are breathable, despite the cold the feet stay warm but without perspiring. The actual color is different from what is seen in the publication, the gray is much darker. The order arrived in Argentina according to the estimated deadlines.
Las botas tienen muy buena calidad, muy técnicas. Realmente impermeables, los usé para caminar en zonas con nieves, sin problemas. Aun no lo utilicé en hielo, pero espero muy pronto y que funcione bien con crampones. Al principio se notan mas pesados que el calzado de treking habitual, pero con el paso de las horas el cuerpo se acostumbra. Son respirables, a pesar del frio los pies se mantienen calientes pero sin transpirar. El color real es distinto del que se ve en la publicación, el gris es bastante mas oscuro.
El pedido llegó a Argentina de acuerdo a los plazos estimados.

Been using these boots for a while now and find them very comfortable. The fit is great for my foot shape.
If i have one criticism its the sole rubber compound. The rubber is a hard compound and not especially grippy on rock. When moving over damp or wet rock you just dont have the confidence you’ll stay upright.

In less than two years of not as intense use as with other models of boots I have had, these Salewa have literally begun to crack in the place where the least wear has a boot, which is the cane. In the red seam flange seen in the photo of the product that rises vertically in the ankle area, all that part presents a slit that the only thing that in my modest understanding evidence is poor quality of the material with which it is built. Something that supports the fact that this gray material in the entire boot suffered premature deterioration. With very few uses, it had a very aged appearance. So, that it is a boot for "high intensity activities and mountain training", I tell you that not at all. Big disappointment because he considered Salewa to be a brand of quality products.
En menos de dos años de uso no tan intenso como con otros modelos de botas que he tenido, estas Salewa se han comenzado literalmente a rajar además en el lugar donde menos desgaste tiene una bota, que es la caña. En el reborde de costura rojo que se ve en la foto del producto que sube en vertical en la zona del tobillo, toda esa parte presenta una raja que lo único que a mi modesto entender evidencia es mala calidad del material con la que está construida. Algo que sustenta el hecho de que ese material gris en la totalidad de la bota sufrió deterioro prematuro. A los muy pocos usos presentaba un aspecto muy envejecido. Así que eso de que es una bota para "actividades de alta intensidad y entrenamiento de montañas", ya os digo yo que para nada. Gran decepción porque consideraba que Salewa era una marca de productos de calidad.

First Saleva shoes (I was not sure ...) and a really good surprise. They are perfect for my foot (not too wide) and are completely forgotten during long hikes in the middle mountains (Vosges, black forest). the grip and the maintenance are ideal, even in wet weather, I am very pleasantly surprised. The possibility of being able to choose half sizes is also greatly appreciated.
Premières chaussures Saleva (je n'etais pas sûr ...) et vraiment une bonne surprise. Elles conviennent parfaitement à mon pied (pas trop large) et se font complètement oublier pendant les longues randonnées en moyenne montagne (Vosges, forêt noire). l'accroche et le maintien sont idéals, même par temps humide, je suis très agréablement surpris. La possibilité de pouvoir choisir des demi-tailles est également très appréciée.

Rigid bottom and top. The ankle is fixed over the entire surface preventing the leg from moving inside. In this case, the fingers are free. Deep lacing allows for a wide fit. The heel sits clearly in place, does not rise .. There is no play to the right / left. Their 3F system works great. The leg does not strain when climbing / descending, but walking on a flat surface is harder than in ordinary boots due to stiffness, therefore, as prescribed, I recommend it for mountain hiking. In addition, there is a place on the heel for fixing hard cats. Cold, they are not suitable for a fierce winter, rather a demi-season and winter up to -5. The sole slips on flat ice, but if there are irregularities, it fixes normally.In the rain they do not get wet, the drops are not absorbed (1 hour, medium rain, walking through puddles until lacing), and accordingly they do not soften, the rigidity is preserved. I am satisfied with the purchase, I respected Salewa.
Жёсткие низ и верх. Лодыжка фиксируется по всей поверхности не давая ноге двигаться внутри. При этом пальцы свободные. Глубокая шнуровка даёт возможность подстроить под широкую ногу. Пятка сидит чётко на месте, не подымается.. Вправо/влево люфта нет. Их система 3F работает замечательно. Нога не напрягается при подъёме/спуске, но ходить по ровной поверхности тяжелее чем в обычных ботинках из-за жёсткости, поэтому как и предписано, рекомендую для горных походов. К тому же на пятке есть место для фиксации жёстких кошек.Холодные, для лютой зимы не годятся, скорее демисезон и зима до -5. Подошва на ровном льду скользит, но если есть неровности, то фиксируется нормально. Под дождём не мокнут, капли не впитываются (1 час, средний дождь, ходьба по лужам до шнуровки), и соответственно не размягчаются, жёсткость сохраняется. Покупкой доволен, к Salewa проникся уважением.

This is my second pair of boots of the same model a few years apart. I have had several pairs of boots of different brands and these are the ones that best fit on foot. Very comfortable As it hits, in the previous ones the sole was worn too quickly. I hope that the new model, which is more aggressive, will last a little longer.

Overall, good first impression. I have a wide foot and usually have problems with some brands, for example the latest Salomon model. The Salewa fit me like a glove and from the first day I felt at ease and no need to jog. They are a bit cold, although it is fixed with good socks. In my opinion, I think the cane should be a little lower, but it's not annoying either.
En general, buena primera impresión. Tengo el pie ancho y suelo tener problemas con algunas marcas, por ejemplo el último modelo de Salomon. Las Salewa me encajan como un guante y desde el primer día me he sentido a gusto y sin necesidad de trotarlas. Son un poco frías, aunque se arregla con unos buenos calcetines. En mi opinión, creo que la caña debería ser un poquito más baja, pero tampoco resulta molesto.

These are my second pair of these boots and they are outstanding. The initial fit feels a little narrow however they hold your foot very well and are never uncomfortable. I wear mine five days a week and wear them for at least eight hours per day. The gortex lining works well keeping your feet dry in the wet and the tread pattern works well in everything from loose rock to mud.
Trekkinn have been absolutely fabulous to deal with. The price was excellent and delivery before Christmas to New Zealand was as estimated. Highly recommended.

This is my first pair of Salewa boots and I'm in love. I've had 4 pairs of Asolo boots in the past and I thought those were great but the Salewa boots are so much better in all aspects. I just wish I bought these sooner. The fit, the Vibram sole, the comfort, and just the look of these boots. They are beautiful. What I really like is the lacing and how close the lacing is to the toe area. You can get them nice and snug from the toe to the top. I'm looking forward to getting out in the rocky and more technical stuff soon. I highly recommend these boots!

Of course 100% waterproof (I take it for granted but still; proven), quite light, VERY good grip and good foot support. The template is somewhat arched and to put a paste the toe is somewhat rigid and you do not get a good closure even if you pull the laces well, which at the beginning are a bit slippery, but just entering reason.
Por supuesto 100% impermeables (lo doy por supuesto pero aún así; comprobado), bastante ligeras, MUY buen agarre y buena sujeción del pie.
La plantilla es algo arqueada y por poner una pega la puntera es algo rígida y no consigues un buen cierre aunque tires bien de los cordones, que al principio son un poco resbaladizos, pero acaban entrando en razón.

I rarely give 5 stars, but I am delighted with these boots. Very comfortable, good cushioning. Good grip and design of the cane very successful for descents reducing friction. Good grip even for small grimpadas. Complies with what is stated in the product description.

I rarely give 5 stars, but I am certainly delighted with the product. Good grip, good grip, in my case despite having a narrow foot, thanks to the double insole. They feel very comfortable, good cushioning and very successful design of the upper back designed for descents, reducing friction. Rigid sole and sturdy toe, great for small grimpadas and save the fingers of those involuntary "kicks" that are sometimes given to the "pebbles" of the road. Buen agarre, buena sujeción, en mi caso pese a tener el pie estrecho, gracias a la doble plantilla.
Se sienten muy cómodas, buena amortiguación y diseño muy acertado de la parte alta trasera pensado para las bajadas, reduciendo el roce.
Suela rígida y puntera robusta, genial para pequeñas grimpadas y salvar los dedos de esas "pataditas" involuntarias que a veces se le dan a las "piedritas" del camino.

Extremely satisfied with how it fits. Run a few tests and I really like how stable and confident my legs feel on uneven surface. The only thing to mention - if it was equiped with adjustable insoles like some other of Salewa boots it would be perfect.

Boots met all expectations. As the initial steps raznashivaya across rough terrain with snow and mud. So are mountain trails, moraines, snow. My leg is comfortable, I have a rather wide leg for my size. Found for a week 150 kilometers no problems.

Fit wide feet well, very good sole, did 2 tramping with no issue. Insole really not good at all, so you've got to choose your size including the insole you've chosen to walk with.

Magnificent boots, give you a lot of touch on rock and great grip both up and down. Great sense of security and ankle support. In my case the only problem is that having a thin foot and a very thin ankle I have to adjust them enough so that I do not fall on my heels, but in any case I have already made two exits with them and they have not made any scratches. For all those who have a normal foot let's say you will undoubtedly luxury. They are quite light and comfortable to be a robust boot for alpine trekking and the two sets of templates are great if you want to use a thicker or thinner sock depending on the time of year. I recommend them as a very good purchase, even more so with the reduction in the price they have. The service by Trekkinn very good as always. regards
Magníficas botas, te dan mucho tacto en roca y gran agarre tanto en subida como en bajada. Gran sensación de seguridad y sujeción de tobillo. En mi caso el único problema es que al tener el pie delgado y un tobillo muy fino me las tengo que ajustar bastante para que no me caiga de talón pero en cualquier caso ya he hecho dos salidas con ellas y no me han hecho rozadura alguna. Para todos los que tengáis un pie digamos normal os irán sin duda de lujo. Son bastantes ligeras y cómodas para tratarse de una bota robusta para trekking alpino y los dos juegos de plantillas van genial por si si quieres usar un calcetín más grueso o más delgado dependiendo de la época del año. Las recomiendo como una muy buena compra, más aún con la rebaja en el precio que tienen. El servicio por parte de Trekkinn muy bueno como siempre. Saludos

Normalerweise trage ich bei alltagstauglichen Schuhen die Größe 45, tendiere bei Sport- und Bergschuhen aus Gründen der Bequemlichkeit aber zu einer größeren Schuhgröße – hier die 47. Die Auswahl ist perfekt, könnte, aber auch 46 ½ sein! Der Schuh hat man kein beengendes Gefühl im vorderen Fußbereich. Die Zehen haben alle Freiheit, die man sich wünschen kann – ohne dass der Schuh einen zu lockeren Sitz hat.
Auch im Schnee fühle ich mich mit der Schuh ganz komfortabel.
So weit (nach ca. 100 km), bin ich mit dem Schuh sehr zufrieden.

The package arrived on the agreed date. Good semi-rigid boot for half mountain brand more than recognized. The soft back part of the heel is appreciated in very long walks and with very pronounced descents. Although it looks like it is not suitable for automatic crampons.
El paquete llegó en la fecha acordada. Buena bota semirrigida para media montaña de marca más que reconocida. La parte posterior blanda del talon es de agradecer en caminatas muy largas y con descenson muy pronunciados. Aunque lo parezca no es apta para grampones automáticos.

Beautiful shoe to the eye, very robust, compact and well cared for. I wear a 43 1/2, I took a 44 for any thick socks, wrap the foot and hold it firmly to the sole. I had a pova for now on uneven terrain of 3km, returned with a dry foot and without any type of bladder or other. Lole I highly recommend.
Scarpa bellissima alla vista, molto robusta, compatta e ben curata. Io calzo un 43 1/2, ho preso un 44 per eventuali calze spesse, avvolgono il piede e lo tengono ben saldo alla suola. Ho fatto una pova per ora su terreno sconnesso di 3km, tornato con piede asciutto e senza alcun tipo di vescica o altro. Lole consiglio vivamente.

Very good experience with the premiere of these boots. Take them out of the box and make them 26 km of mountain without having done them before at the feet. Good footprint, I grabbed, foot protection. Going up and down they give a lot of security. A success!!

The boots are really good, however the dual-density midsole advertised by Salewa was missing and there was just a normal midsole instead. I find this very disappointing because that was one of the features that really made me choose these boots and I am not sure if I will use Trekking again.
