The Salomon Outline Goretex shoe comes to break the patterns of a traditional shoe of mountain because it has all the materials and technologies that make it light and flexible but with a very elegant and stylish look for your outdoor adventures.
Salomon put on this trekking shoe the High Traction Contagrip sole whose multidirectional pattern of heels gives you the traction and adherence that you need in wet or with water grounds.
You would not believe that this hiking shoe also has the Goretex membrane so your feet breathe and do not get wet in case of rain or snow.

Fantastic trail shoes. I bought these yesterday and have worn them on a fairly easy hike today while carrying my baby son on my back! They were very comfortable with excellent grip. The only reason I have not given them 5* is because my feet ache I think due to the flexible nature of the shoe. I doubt they would provide enough support for long or difficult walks/hikes. For my purpose though they are great.

This was a pair of shoes to replace another pair of the same design but different colour. There was a manufacturing fault but customer service was outstanding and new replacement pair was sent within 2 weeks. They are very comfortable and seem to withstand the occasional wet walk.

I bought these because I wanted lightweight hiking shoes that would fit into my travel bag easily. I went to REI and tried on a half dozen shoes in this category and these were the most comfortable and fit me best. They´ve been fantastic with no break in needed. However, I found these to run small! I´m usually a 7.5, occasionally an 8, but needed these in an 8.5 so my toes wouldn´t hit the front.

I bought these shoes for summer walking when my traditional walking boots feel too heavy. I normally take a 6.5 in hiking boots but I went by the sizing guide and opted for the 6. They are spot on lengthwise. At first wearing they felt a bit snug round the middle section but once walking in them I was glad of that support and they feel comfortable. I have narrow heels and they fit me perfectly with plenty of wiggle room in the toe area. I would say they may be a little tight for anyone with wide feet._x000D_ After walking through a field of wet grass my feet stayed completely dry so the waterproof quality works. I love these shoes as they feel as light as trainers but are waterproof.

I love love love these shoes. Took them to Hawaii just a few weeks back and went on many hikes where my foot was almost completely submerged in water and they remained water proof the entire time! One small issue is they kidn of dig into your foot where the tongue meets the side of the shoe, but i have since tied them differently (skipped the second to last hole and then go back through that hole) and they feel much better.

Salomon hiking shoes never disappoint and I love the OUTline GTX! I struggle having wide feet and a little bit of "cankles" and these shoes are SUPER comfortable! I have worn them on pavement taking my dog on walks, have worn them hiking and dare I saw I might wear them to train on the staircase too! My daugter wants to steal them from me, good thing they´re too big for her! I also love how easy they are to clean. And have you checked the fun colors? SO happy with these shoes!!

I had great luck with a pair of Salomon hiking boots, so I decided to try another pair and I am once again thrilled!! I have flat, semi narrow feet and it is very difficult for me to find athletic type shoes that fit me correctly. These worked out perfectly for me! Just the right width and plenty of room for my orthotics. Sturdy, comfortable and supportive. They look super cool and stylish too!! Can´t wait to take these out on the trails! I am buying a second pair in another color here soon. My feet feel so good in these I don´t want to take them off!! For reference I am a 7.5 and that is what I ordered. I used the measuring chart and the length is perfect for me.

I love these shoes! I bought a pair at least 6 months ago, and I´ve been wearing them to walk my dog everyday about 4 miles. They are hardly showing any wear, they are super light and comfortable, and are water resistant so that I can walk through wet grass and not get wet feet!! My feet are narrow but with a wide toe area and these fit perfectly. I bought another pair just so when these eventually wear out I´ll have them. I was afraid they would change the style before I could get them. I tried another Salomon shoe but it was too wide overall. These are great!!

After purchasing many pairs of Salomon shoes and being disappointed these are what I want and expect. My favorite shoes from Salomon have been vario 2 and ultra GTX all of which I now own a few pairs. These are my new favorite. They fit slim and comfortable for my narrow foot. Yay!

My wife wanted nice shoes that may be used for walking anywhere except of hard surfaces (light trekking, trips to nature). Shoes were already attested in really muddy and technical conditions (GTX showed its power as well). Regarding to actual state and damage, there is nothing bad to see - everything is still ready to use (half ayear of using it).

I love these, but only in dry weather. I got to try them out at a Salomon event and it wasn´t long before I bought a pair. They fit true to size, and are immediately comfortable, without any breaking in required. I´ve happily walked in them for miles and miles and my feet never get sore. They have regular laces rather than the quick lace system, and this is a huge bonus for me, as I don´t get on with the quick lace system. They seem to be holding up well, and have travelled with me in the English countryside as well as on Aussie bush walks, doing both equally well. They´re my favourite hiking shoe when it´s dry._x000D_ _x000D_ Their downfall? They are incredibly slippery on wet stone, rock or road. They´re actually pretty much waterproof, but the soles lose all traction on wet hard surfaces. I´d hoped to be able to wear them walking around town, but I can´t count the number of times my feet slipped out from under me when it rained. They lugs ensure they´ve got traction in mud, but anything hard and smooth is an accident waiting to happen. (However, that was a great "excuse" to buy a pair of Vaya GTX shoes, which have me covered for those conditions!)

The shoes are very comfortable and you can walk for hours without any discomfort at all. The only down side is that the grip is awful on wet surfaces! it does make you fall if you not careful so they are great for dry weather but never wear them on wet days.

The size is too big. I wear size 6 for other brands. I bought 5.5 for this shoes. A staff also advised me to wear 5.5. But it is big to me. Unfortunately I found it when I wear outside. It is better to buy one size down.

A clerk at REI recommended this shoe given my size 11, AAA foot - and he was right. They fit well. I have used on a few light hikes and will say they are sturdy and comfortable to wear. I gave them 4 vs 5 stars because they aren’t very warm. The material on the top of the shoe doesn’t seem the best for cold weather hiking.

I have narrow feet with long big toe and these fit so well. I usually have to size up to allow for my big toes which causes shoes to be too wide but these fit like a glove. Very light weight. These are my second pair and would order again. I walk 15 to 20 miles a week.

I love these shoes so much that I´m leaving a review, which I rarely do. These feel like they were made for me. They are so comfortable. I love the snug fit with lots of cushion. These are flexible and didn´t need to be broken in at all! I never got a blister. 10 miles a day was my max in these but I´m sure I could have gone farther and been fine. They worked great for hiking in the rain and wearing around town on rainy days. They fit like a comfy sneaker, not a stiff hiker. My feet were always dry! They lasted for a long time, great quality. I want another pair. I tried getting the Outline for the summer, but it´s not as comfortable as the outline Gore-Tex. Outline has less cushion, ran bigger by a 1/2 size and felt stiff and generic in comparison to the Gore-Tex. I prefer wearing the Outline Gore-Tex year round, even in the desert, because for me, they didn´t feel any warmer than without the Gore-Tex._x000D_ I´m 5´5, 135 lbs., slim feet, have significant pronation, neuromas (exposed nerves at the front ball of feet near center toes) on both feet and wear a size 7 or 37 euro. This shoe feels true to size, gave me enough support and wonderful cushion protection so I never felt any nerve pain. I highly recommend these shoes! :)

I bought them back last January before I studied abroad in Scotland, best shoes I could’ve possibly bought for the rainy weather. My feet stayed extra dry the entire time. Not to mention the grip was great for when I went hiking up hills and rocky paths! They also were light enough/casual enough to wear around the city when it was raining. I paired mine with wool socks or regular fuzzy socks for extra warmth. 10/10 for sure :)

The first time I put these on we did a 20k walk and my feet felt amazing. The next time I we backpacked 88k on a coastal trial with a lot of wet rock, interior climbing, rock climbing and very slippery conditions and River crossings. I had no blisters, the shoes dried completely out in two days and about 50% on the first night. Very impressive. the only negative I have to say is the laces are soooo long. I cant tell you how many times I have to retie the laces as I would step on them or they would be pulled open by sliding down rock or general use. I love them so much I am willing to deal with the laces for the comfort of the shoe. If Salomon offered assorted lace sizes to buy I would love to buy a shorter pair to match the shoe… ( hint hint Salomon)

This is fourth pair of the Outline Gore-Tex shoes I have bought in the past couple of years. It´s not because they´re made badly, but because they´re the only shoes I wear. They are, hands down, the most comfortable shoes I own. I walk 2-5 miles daily, and nd I love how they provide stability and cradle my feet._x000D_ _x000D_ I´d love to find a pair that look a little less like hiking shoes, since I really do wear them everywhere, but, as luck would have it, they´re great looking as well and can go (almost) anywhere.

Wish I had bought 4 pairs! Can’t find the black any longer, please bring them back!! I love a waterproof, comfortable, low shoe that I can wear everywhere and not be too flashy.

I´m looking to buy a third pair of these. I wear them at work, and everywhere else too, because they´re so comfortable and fit my foot so well. I work looooong days as a nurse, and these are just as comfy at the end of my shift as they are at the beginning. Love that they´re waterproof too. I´m ready for some new colors though!!!

First time I wore these shoes I walked 22k with no blisters or sore feet.. the second time I wore them I did 11 nights in the back country doing the Lake Superior Costal Trial hiking a hard trail hiking 5-6 hours a day, no problems. They dry very fast, keep my feet warm when wet. I had to change out the long laces bc when rock scrambling they were getting in the way but Im planning on using them same pair for my next 11 night backpacking trip this year doing the Pukaskwa National Park coastal trail. I came on to buy another pair , but my size is not in stock. I would highly recommend this shoe for anyone who loves to wear Nike shoes as I think they are also narrow in the toe like Nike brand. I do with they had more colours in this shoe especially in non girly colours…..

I´ve had these shoes since fall ´20, but in the past year or so they´ve become my go-to daily dog-hiking shoes. I came back to the website purchase another pair & thought I´d leave a little review..._x000D_ My golden retriever and I love to go on daily hiking adventures (often 4 - 6 miles/day) that typically entail lots of water (beach/river crossings/lakes/wet conditions, etc). These shoes are *incredibly comfortable* in my book - they are *super lightweight* (love this feature even more than I realized I would), *flexible/soft* (so no break in period and it feels effortless to walk around), has a *roomy toe box* (no scrunched toes, even on descents), and has great grippy tread that keeps me stable across all sorts of terrain. The gore-tex is a must feature for me since I go wherever my water-loving, super swimmer doggie loves to go! The Outline Gore-tex really do the trick for me. Just love ´em! It is difficult for me to find shoes that fit great, stand up to daily hikes of 3-5 miles and have the added bonus of looking like sneaker. These shoes check all the boxes. I have worn out 3 pairs. I came back to order my 4th and am sad to learn they are discontinued. These were hands down the best hiking shoe I have ever worn in over 30 years. Please bring them back!

I bought TWO pair last year, and have worn them so much, I came back to buy another pair. I´m not willing to risk a sore back or sore legs, so I wanted to get a THIRD pair (I teach in a self-contained elementary special education classroom and average about 10,000 steps before I even go home every day). Sadly though, it appears these are being discontinued??? NOOOO! I hope there will be a new issue of these shoes. _x000D_ _x000D_ I wear a size 11 and I honestly have looked forward to wearing these shoes every day because they are just that comfortable and practical.

I have 3 pairs of the Outline Mid GTX for walking in the mountains. So, I decided to try this style for more urban environments. I like the wider toe box and the stable sole. I did have to size up by 1/2. I wish Salomon would continue to make this style.

All correct, I advise one more number compared to normal footwear. The GTX does not let water pass. I hate the new system of tightening the laces, this model brings the traditional system. Let's see how long they last. Price adjusted Happy with Trekkinn's service.
