The Salomon X Raise Goretex shoes provide stability, impermeability, breathability, lightness, and great grip to a variety of terrains thanks to the quality materials and very well selected by the French house.
The Contagrip sole offers excellent grip on wet, dry or smooth surfaces. The molded EVA midsole gives comfort and stability on each step. This hiking shoe has the membrane Goretex that is highly resistant to water and favors ventilation of the foot.
It is a lightweight shoe, which adjusts easily and comfortably on the foot, thanks to the neck and tongue of maxi foam. The heel and toe cap are reinforced to protect the foot against the stones.
This mountaineering shoe features an antiparticle mesh upper that keeps the foot fresh and avoids objects from entering inside.

This model is recommended for hiking use. Very comfortable and adapted to the foot. Already used on a route, very comfortable and without any damage to the foot. Only take into account the size before buying, being Solomon who gives a little more size than a usual shoe. The service was fast and very efficient.

When I bought this shoe, I was looking for shoes that would both function as performance footwear in the outdoors and for running, and that would also be mild looking and comfortable enough to be use as an everyday shoe (I like owning a few pairs of shoes possible). I am happy to say that these shoes are exactly what I was looking for! As someone who used to wear Merrels, it was hard for me to break away from my favorite brand of shoe. However, as many of us know, the quality control and long-lasting ruggedness that made Merrels a top brand is quickly disappearing. My last pair of Merrells was shipped to me with parts of the sole already detached, and within 2 years the shoes were ruined. This is my first pair of Salomons, and I have to say that I am hooked now. These shoes are very comfortable, and the tread absolutely destroys soft terrain. The tread lugs, although they do not stick to rocks like Merrel Vibram soles do, seem to do very well at grabbing rock edges, making them also a good choice for hard terrain. Like I said, these shoes are also great for every-day use. Unlike many other outdoors shoes, they have an attractive yet mild and low-profile design, ensuring they don't look out of place at the office or out grocery shopping in your blue jeans. Also, I've found the type of rubber in the soles is excellent for maintaining grip on slippery wet floors. The only thing to consider before buying is that these shoes were made for running in terrain, not on concrete. The soles use deep lugs for traction, which means that they will wear faster if used on concrete everyday. All in all great shoe! Try them and love them.

I was already lost in the color of the shoe ... a beautiful khaki! In addition a great Contragrip sole with which I have had good experience for years. It is in no way inferior to a vibram. The shoe is super comfortable and breathable. Big recommendation. Turns out a bit smaller.
