Salomon X Ultra 4 Goretex Hiking Shoes are the low version of this model that is like shoes to give greater freedom of movement to the ankle. The ADV-C Chassis provides greater fit and support to the ankle and stability for your mountain explorations on technical terrains, ascents, and descents with more grip, cushioning, and waterproof protection.
These mountain shoes have a Contagrip MA sole with spike studs that give excellent durability and a superior grip on complex, wet, hard, or slippery surfaces. The Energy Cell midsole offers smooth cushioning, and the Active Support technology is responsible for stability regardless of steps or movements.
The Goretex waterproof membrane protects from water or mud and your feet are kept dry the entire trip. The upper of these hiking shoes is made with leather, a polyurethane coating, and mesh for maximum durability and resistance against scratches.
Inside, the OrthoLite foam, with anti-odor and anti-microbial treatment, gives more comfort, softness, and increases cushioning, while the Sensifit technology hugs the foot offering a comfortable and customized fit. These trekking shoes are tied with a Quicklace system and have mud and toe cap protection to prevent bumps with stones.

Before these shoes I had XA Pro 3D V8 which were very comfortable but when hiking in the mountains they didn't last more than a year. The sole wore out quickly and the Gore Tex tore. Now I will test this model that is new to me. I have a few hikes done with them. They are comfortable, have very good grip and the sole is much more robust than the model I used. They also have good fit. For now I remain loyal to the brand. As for the order, it took a long time to arrive. The total order was missing a product that when I bought it was in stock and on the day that Tradeinn validated it, it seems that it was no longer available. Stock information should be much clearer. The carrier information I chose, MRW is also insufficient. There are better.

I have tried many shoes but as salomon there is none, from my point of view, I hope they last like the previous models I had. MRW has behaved very badly and from two days the shipment took five days, very bad for MRW
