3M Trizact™ P3000 Hookit™ Foam Disc

Achieve a flawless, mirror-like finish on your vessel with the 3M Trizact™ P3000 Hookit™ Foam Disc. This revolutionary abrasive disc is an essential tool for any boat owner or marine professional dedicated to achieving the highest standard in paint and gelcoat finishing. Specifically engineered for the critical final steps of paint correction, this disc helps you create a surface so smooth and refined that it dramatically reduces subsequent compounding and polishing time.

The secret lies in 3M´s groundbreaking Trizact™ microreplication technology. Unlike conventional abrasives that can wear down unevenly, Trizact™ abrasives feature three-dimensional structures that continuously expose fresh, sharp mineral as they wear. This unique process ensures an exceptionally consistent cut rate and an incredibly uniform finish from the beginning to the end of the disc´s long life. The result is a finely textured, haze-free surface perfectly prepped for the final polishing stage, allowing you to achieve deeper color, clarity, and gloss with less effort.

This foam disc is a key component in a spot repair system for removing P1200-P1500 grade sand scratches.

For hand sanding or machine.

No holes.

Designed for versatility and performance in a marine environment, the foam backing on the disc provides excellent conformability, allowing it to glide smoothly over the unique curves, contours, and complex surfaces of a boat´s hull and superstructure. This flexibility ensures even pressure distribution, preventing uneven sanding and protecting the integrity of your finish. For optimal results, use the disc damp with a spray of water, which helps to minimize dust, prevent the disc from loading up with residue, and further extend its operational life.

Key Benefits:

* Drastically Reduces Polishing Time: Creates a fine, uniform finish that requires significantly less time and material to compound and polish, saving you time and money.
