1. Prepare the Opening: This boot is designed for a clean, 4-inch diameter opening in your boat´s motor well wall or transom. Ensure the surface is clean and free of debris.
2. Mount the Gasket Ring: The polypropylene attachment gasket ring serves as the mounting flange. Position it over the opening and secure it firmly to the surface using appropriate marine-grade screws and sealant (not included).
3. Route Connections: Carefully guide your control cables, wires, and/or fuel lines through the center of the mounted ring.
4. Install the Boot: Thanks to the split-side design, you can easily wrap the black rubber boot around the cables without disconnecting them. Fit the base of the boot securely over the lip of the installed polypropylene gasket ring.
