Baetis GLO-Brite 2 Coil line

BAETIS GLO-Brite 2 Coil Floss | Ultra-Vibrant Fly Tying Thread

Elevate your fly tying and create patterns that fish simply cannot ignore with the BAETIS GLO-Brite 2 Coil line. As a premier choice in the world of modern fly tying materials, this fluorescent floss is engineered to give your creations a visual advantage in any water condition. Whether you are a seasoned professional crafting competition-grade nymphs or a passionate hobbyist looking to improve your catch rate, GLO-Brite is an indispensable addition to your tying bench. Its intense luminosity and versatile nature make it a go-to material for adding that critical element of attraction that triggers aggressive strikes.

The primary benefit of the BAETIS GLO-Brite 2 Coil lies in its exceptional fluorescence. The vibrant, glowing colors are designed to capture and reflect even the faintest underwater light, creating a powerful trigger point that draws fish in from a distance. This is especially effective in deep, stained, or low-light conditions where standard colors can appear dull. By incorporating this material, you are not just adding color; you are adding a dynamic, eye-catching hotspot that mimics the natural translucence of aquatic insects and provokes a predatory response.

Designed for ultimate versatility, this is a thin and fluorescent floss thread used for scarves, butts, tags, under bodies of perdigons or indicators. Its flat, smooth profile allows you to build up sleek, tapered bodies with ease, making it the perfect foundation for perdigon nymphs that require a seamless underbody before applying UV resin. Use a single wrap for a subtle tag on a pheasant tail nymph, create a vibrant butt on a classic wet fly, or build a complete, glowing body on a chironomid pattern. Its application extends to creating highly visible sighter sections on your leaders, ensuring you never miss a subtle take. The material can be easily split into finer strands for more delicate work, offering you complete control over the bulk and profile of your fly.
