Experience unparalleled control and versatility with a tool crafted to enhance every aspect of your fishing. The primary benefit lies in its ability to streamline your gear, effectively replacing multiple single-purpose items on your vest or lanyard. Whether you are carefully removing a hook from a delicate trout, de-barbing your flies for catch-and-release waters, or need to make a quick adjustment to your rig, these forceps provide the confidence and capability to perform the task flawlessly. Promote responsible angling and fish conservation with a tool built for quick, clean de-barbing and gentle hook removal, minimizing stress on the fish and ensuring a healthy release.

Every feature of the Baetis Medium Forceps is thoughtfully integrated for maximum performance. The jaws feature a sophisticated dual-surface design: a finely serrated section offers an unyielding grip on hooks of all sizes, while a smooth, flat area is perfect for effortlessly crushing barbs without damaging the hook point. Integrated directly into the structure is a razor-sharp scissor, capable of cleanly snipping tippet, leader, and stray materials with precision. A common frustration is solved with the built-in, fine-point eyelet cleaner, ensuring you can clear excess head cement or debris from hook eyes in seconds. The robust, three-position locking mechanism allows you to clamp down with adjustable pressure, providing a secure, hands-free hold when you need it most. Ergonomically shaped finger loops ensure a comfortable, non-slip grip, even with wet or cold hands, for confident handling in any condition.
