Baltic Lifesaver

BALTIC Lifesaver: The Ultimate Inflatable Horseshoe Buoy for Marine Safety

Elevate your on-water safety protocol with the revolutionary BALTIC Lifesaver, an essential piece of equipment for any responsible boater. Designed for immediate and effective response in critical man-overboard (MOB) situations, this advanced safety device provides unparalleled security and peace of mind. When every second counts, the Lifesaver ensures a swift and effective response, combining innovative Swedish engineering with the highest standards of marine safety. It is the modern solution for mariners who demand reliability, performance, and compact efficiency from their safety gear.

Unlike traditional, bulky life rings that consume valuable deck space, the BALTIC Lifesaver is ingeniously designed for compact storage. Housed in a durable, sleek container, it can be mounted on the pushpit or stored in a convenient location for instant access. In an emergency, it can be thrown towards the person in the water with ease. Upon contact with the water, its reliable automatic inflation system activates, rapidly transforming it into a fully functional, high-buoyancy horseshoe buoy.

The BALTIC Lifesaver is a state-of-the-art Inflatable horseshoe buoy.

Features:

Buoyancy 140 Newton:
- The buoyancy of a lifejacket is measured in the Newton unit. A lifejacket must have sufficient buoyancy to keep the user´s airways above the surface. The vests are divided into different classes depending on the amount of buoyancy, though the actual Newton´s number may vary depending on the size of the vest.

33g CO2:
- Specifies the size of the carbon dioxide cylinder used on inflatable products. The cylinder must be checked before each use.

Engineered for maximum effectiveness during a rescue, the Lifesaver is packed with practical features. Its high-visibility yellow fabric ensures it is easily spotted against the water´s surface, even in challenging weather or low-light conditions. The inflated buoy´s robust outer Rims provide a secure and stable structure for the person in the water to hold onto, enhancing their stability and confidence while awaiting recovery. To further aid in rescue, the design incorporates extensive SOLAS-grade retro-reflective tape for superior visibility during night-time searches, as well as a sturdy lifting becket that allows the crew to hoist the person safely back on board. The inclusion of a drogue anchor is a critical feature, designed to reduce drift in strong winds and currents, keeping the buoy and the person in the water closer to the vessel and simplifying the recovery operation.
