BLUE OX Base Plate - The Foundation for Secure Towing

Unlock the full potential of your travels with the BLUE OX Base Plate, the essential foundation for any reliable dinghy towing system. Whether you´re an avid RVer heading to the campsite or a boater making your way to the marina, the freedom to have a separate, drivable vehicle at your destination is invaluable. The BLUE OX Base Plate is the critical, vehicle-specific component that creates an unshakeable link between your motorhome and your towed car, providing the ultimate in safety, security, and peace of mind on the open road.

Engineered for a perfect fit and uncompromising strength, this baseplate integrates seamlessly with your vehicle´s frame. Forget about generic, one-size-fits-all solutions; a BLUE OX Base Plate is custom-designed for your specific make and model, ensuring a precise and robust connection that you can trust for thousands of miles. This tailored approach allows for a clean, professional installation that respects the integrity and design of your vehicle.

Experience the Blue Ox Difference:

* Unmatched Security and Reliability: The primary benefit of a BLUE OX Base Plate is the absolute confidence it provides. By bolting directly to the vehicle´s chassis and utilizing as many attachment points as possible, it creates a rock-solid connection that evenly distributes towing forces, reducing stress on your vehicle and ensuring a stable, predictable towing experience.
* Preserve Your Vehicle´s Aesthetics: Worried about your car’s appearance when you´re not towing? Blue Ox has you covered. The baseplate itself is designed to be hidden beneath the vehicle´s body, maintaining its original factory look. Furthermore, most models feature innovative removable tabs. When you´re not towing, simply remove the tabs for a clean, unobtrusive front end—no one will even know the baseplate is there.
* Effortless Integration and Professional Fit: The smart, no-weld design simplifies installation while providing a durable, long-lasting connection. This direct bolt-on approach means a solid fit without permanent modifications to your vehicle´s frame, preserving its structural integrity and resale value.

At the core of every Blue Ox towing system is the meticulously engineered baseplate. Here’s what makes it the industry standard for strength and reliability:
