CREWSAVER Ergofit 290N Harness Automatic Life Jacket – Uncompromising Offshore Safety

Navigate the world´s most challenging waters with the ultimate in personal safety and comfort: the CREWSAVER Ergofit 290N Harness Automatic Life Jacket. Engineered for the serious sailor and offshore adventurer, this life jacket represents the pinnacle of marine safety technology, designed to perform when you need it most without hindering your performance on deck. It offers an unparalleled fusion of innovative design, extreme buoyancy, and ergonomic comfort, ensuring you can focus on the journey with complete peace of mind.

The ErgoFit 290N is built around a core principle of providing maximum security in the most extreme conditions. Its substantial 290 Newtons of buoyancy deliver exceptional in-water performance, providing rapid turning speeds to place you on your back and offering superior freeboard to keep your airway high above the water, even when wearing heavy, multi-layer foul weather gear. This level of buoyancy is essential for offshore and ocean passages where help may not be immediate.

Comfort is not a luxury but a necessity for safety. The unique 3D ergonomic sculpted shaping of the ErgoFit 290N ensures it contours perfectly to your body. This tailored fit distributes weight evenly, eliminating pressure points and allowing for complete freedom of movement, whether you are hoisting a sail, grinding a winch, or navigating at the helm. It is designed for long-duration wear, feeling less like a cumbersome safety device and more like an integrated part of your sailing attire.

At the heart of this life jacket is a reliable automatic inflation system, ready to activate upon immersion in water, alongside a manual override. A clear indicator window on the front allows for a quick and simple check of the firing mechanism´s status, ensuring you are always good to go.

Safety is a system of integrated features, and the ErgoFit 290N excels in this regard. It includes a fully integrated deck safety harness with a robust, soft loop D-ring for securely clipping on a safety tether. For critical post-immersion survival, a built-in, high-visibility sprayhood helps protect against wave splash and secondary drowning, while a high-intensity, water-activated Pylon™ life jacket light ensures you can be seen in a rescue situation. The double crotch strap design prevents the jacket from riding up during a fall or in turbulent water, keeping it securely in place to provide optimal performance.
