Technology

- HVF:A reduction in the quantity of resin used and increased carbon fibre adhesion during the hot-polymerising stage.
- X45:This manufacturing process involves layering spiral carbon fibres (90°), unidirectional fibres (0°) over three layers and two layers of carbon as helicoidal opposites (45°). These two crossed layers give the name Bias Cross Wrap. The wrapping of X45 guarantees true elasticity: a return to the original shape of the blank irrespective of the angle of load.
- V-JOINT: The V-Joint is made from Bias carbon wrapped at 45°, improving the curve and action of the rod under compression on the cast and the fight. The V-Joint’s Bias carbon has a perfect shape memory – returning to its original position as soon as the force exerted on the blank is lifted.
- - FUJI:The FUJI logo is linked to a Daiwa rod featuring at least one FUJI element, whether it’s a reel seat or guide. FUJI KOGYO CO., LTD was founded on 20 January 1945 in Japan and is the world’s leading rod component manufacturer. Daiwa and Fuji have been collaborating as Japanese manufacturers for decades. FUJI has the technical engineering know-how to respond to the increasingly high demands of anglers for improvements in their tackle. In this respect the company is on the same wavelength as Daiwa in terms of putting innovation at the service of the angler. This is the story behind the FUJI guides, reel seats, rings and other components that you’ll find on numerous Daiwa rod ranges around the world.
- FUJI K Guides: The frame of FUJI K ANTI TANGLE GUIDE HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO PREVENT TANGLES WHEN CASTING The frame of this FUJI guide prevents braid getting looped around rod guides on the cast. A crosswind often causes the knots to form around the first guide, leading to break offs and rig losses. FUJI K guides eliminate this problem thanks to the ingenious frame design.

Propex x (e) 2.44

Hello to the friend who asked about this cane I will tell you, that it is a good cane, the rings I love something new, I bought the 2.44 acc. 10-35, luckily because it is a cane as I like progressive rigid tip, the cane is to throw all those lures but has the strength to collect good pieces, of all sizes, I am imagining that the ones that are action more superior will be a "mop stick" or tuna fishing, how hard they will be, this is magnificent 10-35, apart from how beautiful it is, if you want a more "tender" tip the Daiwa Tenya will be very useful, almost same benefits at half the price, in short I hope to be of help and that you fish a lot!

what is the recommended line for the model 662XXHFBAF from 3 to 10g

Answer of Wei Jian

I don´t think this rod comes with a XXH action. If you are referring to 3 to 10g lure rating, and I will suggest you to use 4 to 6lb monofilament line or 10lb braided line. The rod tip of this rod is very fairly narrow, so it is not suitable for thick diameter line.

Daiwa Prorex E Spinning Rod

Solid tip or tubular tip on the 213cm 3-10g?

24/12/2022

Francesco

Hello! I would like some more information on the 213 cm light spinning model, power 3-10gr. Is the tip solid (full carbon) or tubular? What is the weight of the rod? Does it have a fast tip action or a softer (parabolic) action? That is, does only the tip bend or a large part of the barrel? Thank you

Answer of Wei Jian

Not sure what tip is it, but it is fast and stiff. Weight under 4oz. It said L action but it is definitely ML or more, it handled a 10lb salmon like it was a trout.

Would you like to know the weights of the 5.21g and 7.28g rods?

Answer of OSCAR

Hello, to begin with, the image of the rod does not correspond to the one in the photo, I bought it knowing it and the rod was aesthetically very cool. I have the 2.70 10-35 ..... I weigh 150 grams. It is quite stiff and very sharp action, very powerful in terms of working a fish and hoisting. From 15 to 28 grams an authentic cannon throwing, from 10 to 15 with a little technique you can also take meters and above 38 grams it also throws them but carefully. The feeling as soon as you hold it in your hand is of having the power to work and fight any fish that has already gained kilos.

Daiwa Prorex E Spinning Rod

What is the action of the rod?

03/11/2022

Vanderlei

I'm looking for a Rod that has fast or extra fast action, one that doesn't bend as much as a slower Rod, if not, can you point me to one? Grateful I'm referring to a 1,83m Rod and 5-21g of cast. I'm looking for one between 1,80 to 1,95m with this faster action.

Answer of Alex

I am delighted. Launches super well does not bend.

Daiwa Prorex E Spinning Rod

It is valid for rockfishing

11/02/2019

Agustin Artero Morillas

I have seen in your app a rod, the Daiwa Prorex E, and I have a question. In the application the rod is visible when I put rods for Spinning, but in the description of the rod it says that it is for baitcasting. I want it for rockfishing and I would put a Shimano Stradic spinning reel on it, not baitcasting. Would this rod be valid for rockfishing? That is to say, as in baitcasting you fish with the rings of the rod facing you and in spinning with the rings facing the sea, would there be any problem when using this rod for spinning or rockfishing?

Hello! The tip is: spinning rod - spinning reel, baitcasting rod - baitcasting rod. A first rule of thumb for different types of fishing is to use rods and reels designed for the same type of fishing. It's not just that they work, we're talking about sensations! ... Baitcasting rods, unlike spinning rods, don't just have the rings on the top J. Baitcasting rods already have a predefined slight downward bend designed for the type of fishing, while the baitcasting rod Spinning has a straight profile, which makes it impossible to invert the rod with the rings down; plus the bottom and top rings are much smaller than spinning rods, this is because baitcasting reels have the front line outlet, whereas on spinning rods with spinning rollers, the bottom rings are much larger due to the exit of the thread through the bobbin. When cast with a spinning reel on a baitcasting rod, the size of the rings will not be large enough for the line to exit, causing constant tangles (wigs). On an ergonomic level, the trigger of a baitcasting rod allows the baitcasting reel to be kept in position at the time of casting, and is ideal for this type of fishing. For spinning fishing it doesn't make any sense, and it's quite annoying. Also, you have to think that with "rings up" the reel would be inverted, therefore with the handle on the left, impractical for angling.
