Davis Instruments Model 1000 Dehumidifier

Davis Instruments Air-Dryr 1000 Dehumidifier

Protect your valuable marine investment from the damaging effects of moisture with the Davis Instruments Model 1000 Dehumidifier. An essential piece of maintenance equipment for any boat owner, the Air-Dryr 1000 is your first line of defense against the persistent dampness that can lead to costly and unhealthy problems. This innovative device works tirelessly to create a healthier, drier environment within your boat´s cabin, storage lockers, and other enclosed spaces.

Say goodbye to mold mildew and moisture. The Air-Dryr 1000 is engineered to combat the root causes of musty odors, fabric decay, and corrosion on electronics and metal fittings. Unlike conventional dehumidifiers, it operates using a unique, silent, and highly efficient process. By gently warming the air, it raises the temperature above the dew point, preventing water from condensing on cooler surfaces. The internal fan then circulates this drier air throughout the space, effectively managing humidity levels without the need for a compressor or a water collection tank that requires constant emptying.

This unit is the ultimate "set it and forget it" solution for year-round protection. Designed to operate anywhere 24 hours a day, it provides continuous, worry-free moisture control whether you are on board or away from your vessel for an extended period. Its low power consumption is incredibly efficient, drawing a minimal amount of energy, making it perfect for long-term use in marinas or during winter storage without a significant impact on your power bill or battery life. With no moving parts other than its quiet fan and a self-regulating thermal cutoff for safety, it offers unparalleled reliability and peace of mind.

Installation is effortless. Place Air-DryrTM on the floor in any damp enclosed space and plug into a 110/120 volt outlet. Its compact footprint and stable base allow it to fit discreetly in cabins, closets, engine rooms, or heads. Built for the demanding marine environment, it features a durable neutral beige color housing made of polycarbonate that resists impact and corrosion.
