FOX INTERNATIONAL Helicopter & Chod Buffer Bead System

Revolutionize your helicopter and chod rig presentations with the advanced and highly versatile Helicopter & Chod Buffer Bead system from FOX INTERNATIONAL. Engineered for the discerning angler seeking ultimate adaptability, fish safety, and flawless presentation, this essential piece of terminal tackle is a game-changer for fishing over a variety of lakebeds, from clean gravel to dense weed.

Designed with meticulous attention to detail, this system offers unparalleled versatility. Whether you prefer fishing with robust lead-free or leadcore leaders or favour the subtlety of a ´naked´ setup directly on your main line, this buffer bead adapts effortlessly to your chosen style. The innovative design featuring a removable tapered insert is the key to its flexibility; use the bead without the insert for a seamless fit on thicker leaders, and simply add the insert for a perfect, streamlined profile when fishing on a naked main line. This adaptability ensures you can present your rig perfectly in any situation, on any water, without compromise.

One of the standout benefits is its intelligent two-part construction, built to protect your critical connection points. Your main line or leader knot is completely covered and shielded by the separate buffer section, which slides securely over the main bead. This not only creates an incredibly neat and tidy profile that reduces tangles but also adds a crucial layer of protection against abrasion and the immense stress of a prolonged fight, giving you absolute confidence that your setup will not fail when it matters most.

Experience unparalleled control and safety with the adjustable lead setup. The main body of the bead utilizes a secure friction fit to hold any Fox swivel lead firmly in place during the cast and retrieve. However, the true innovation lies in the choice it provides. You can fix the lead’s swivel securely in place using the supplied T-peg for a conventional setup. Alternatively, for a cutting-edge safety-first approach, you can use an EDGES PVA strip. This clever configuration allows the lead to discharge safely when it comes into contact with heavy weed or underwater snags, prioritizing fish welfare and dramatically increasing your chances of landing a hooked fish. The friction is perfectly calibrated to be strong enough for retrieval but will eject when needed, offering the best of both worlds.

To complete the package, the entire system is finished in the signature FOX EDGES Camo colouration. This unique disruptive pattern is designed to merge flawlessly with the contours and colours of the lakebed, ensuring your entire terminal setup remains concealed and inconspicuous to wary, rig-shy fish.
