I bought the Gill Deckhand half-finger gloves, not because I am a fisherman or a sailor, but because I needed resistant gloves that would not fall apart quickly. I hit the mark! They are beautiful and sturdy gloves, perhaps a little stiff at first, more for the summer. So if you do not have fairy hands, I recommend getting the L and not M, or at least a larger size. You will not regret it.
