ILBA Ondulante Dentex 2 Spoon: The Ultimate Saltwater Trolling Lure

Unlock the full potential of your saltwater trolling expeditions with the ILBA Ondulante Dentex 2, a masterfully crafted spoon designed for relentless performance and unparalleled attraction. Engineered in Italy by lure specialists, the Dentex is your definitive weapon for targeting the most sought-after predators of the sea. Its design is the culmination of extensive research into the movements of fleeing baitfish, resulting in a lure that is simply irresistible to game fish.

The ILBA Dentex is an undulating lure specifically optimized for trolling fishing at sea. Its signature action is a seductive, wide-wobbling motion that cuts through the water, creating powerful vibrations and a dazzling flash that calls fish in from a distance. This lifelike swimming pattern perfectly mimics a wounded or disoriented fish, triggering the aggressive, instinctual strikes of predators like Dentex, Sea Bass, Bonito, Mackerel, and Barracuda. Whether trolled at slow or moderate speeds, the Dentex maintains its hypnotic rhythm, making it a versatile and consistently effective choice in a variety of marine conditions.

Built to conquer the harsh, corrosive saltwater environment, every component of the Dentex spoon is selected for maximum durability and longevity. The body is forged from high-grade stainless steel, ensuring it withstands brutal attacks and resists corrosion season after season. It comes complete with a high-performance, nickel-plated swivel that effectively eliminates line twist—a critical feature for a smooth and frustration-free trolling experience. This allows the lure to perform its dance unhindered, maximizing its natural, enticing action.

Hook-up ratios are critical, which is why the ILBA Dentex is armed with special anti-corrosion VMC treble hooks. Renowned for their incredible sharpness and immense strength, these hooks provide lightning-fast penetration and the holding power necessary to battle and land powerful, hard-fighting saltwater species. You can fish with the confidence that your connection to that trophy fish is secure.

Versatility is at the heart of the Dentex design. It is available in four distinct sizes, ranging from a nimble 3 grams to a deep-diving 25 grams. The lighter models are perfect for inshore trolling, targeting fish in shallower waters, or for use with lighter tackle. The heavier versions allow you to reach greater depths where larger specimens lurk, making the Dentex series a complete system for nearly any saltwater trolling scenario. For an added layer of visual stimulation, the lure is offered with the option of mounting vibrant white feathers on the treble hook. This enhancement adds a pulsating, breathing effect to the lure´s profile, providing a crucial secondary trigger that can entice even the most cautious and wary fish to commit.

Choose the ILBA Ondulante Dentex 2 spoon and add a proven, tournament-grade performer to your tackle box. Its robust construction, irresistible action, and premium components make it an essential tool for any serious saltwater angler dedicated to the art of trolling
